Here's what happened this month: Friends, It's been a few months since we sent a proper Wyze newsletter! Sorry to leave you hanging like this, we know many have been on the edge of their seats waiting for Wyze to send more emails. Here's what's happening this month here at Wyze HQ in Seattle. Wyze Floodlight v2 For a few more days you can get the brand new Wyze Floodlight v2 at the special (frankly ridiculous) launch price of $53.99. The Floodlight v2 takes the v1 and makes everything better. 2k footage, 2800 lumens, and 160° viewing. With such a wide view, it's enough to fit almost everything in frame with the exception of your mom. [Shop Now]( Dark Mode Dark mode is finally on the main Wyze home screen! We know how long many of you have asked and waited for this one in our communities and we truly appreciate your patience. The only bad news now is when you open the Wyze app to check that 2:00 AM person detection alert you're going to have to find an actual flashlight to hunt down the perpetrator, instead of just turning around the Wyze app. Good luck finding a flashlight that lights up retinas with such tenacity! You can switch to dark mode in Account > App Settings. [App Settings]( Wyze at CES thanks to Tik Tok We got a special invitation from Tik Tok to join them in Las Vegas for a special live stream right on the floors of CES. We spent several hours streaming live and giving out free Wyze Cams, then several hours walking aimlessly around the show floors trying to find something as innovative as a Wyze Cam. Sure, transparent TVs are cool, but can they tell you when your home is being burglarized? Can they detect pets? [Wyze on TikTok]( We moved into a new office Here's some quick Wyze office history for you. In January 2020 we signed a lease on a large office space here in Seattle. Having quickly outgrown our previous three offices, we were excited to finally build out a big place we could call home for a long time. Literally two months later, the pandemic hit and we all started working from home. We continued to write eye-watering rent checks each month for an office space that nobody was using. Our landlord took that opportunity to come in unannounced and make major renovations on the building so that when we finally did come back to the office, the construction noise was so loud we couldn't concentrate hard enough to figure out how to create dark mode for the Wyze app. After a bit of landlord drama, we've finally escaped into a new office that's more artistic, more peaceful, and more conducive to our hybrid working environment. Seriously though, it's good to be back together as a Wyze family. The energy in this new building is obvious to anyone that walks in the door. We're locked and loaded for 2024 in our new home! If you'd like to join us, [check our job openings here](. Video of The Month There are few sounds as beautiful as the Wyze siren. Some of us here at Wyze turn on that sound to help us fall asleep at night. For people trying to break into cars, it has the opposite effect, providing a sudden burst of scared adrenaline they didn't know they possessed. Thanks to Wyze user Peter for his excellent use of Wyze Rules and [Wyze Person Detection to automatically ward off this night prowler](. That's it from us this month! Catch you all in February.
