Here's what happened this month: Wyze Friends, Happy June. It was a hot month for the Wyze community

Here's what happened this month: Wyze Friends, Happy June. It was a hot month for the Wyze community, and not just because of the sun. Here’s what’s going on this month. Summer bundles available now Happy freedom festivities to two of our favorite countries! We’ve whipped up a few discounted bundles for the special holiday. You can get a [free Wyze Video Doorbell (+ Chime) when you buy a Lock and Cam v3](. That’s the most popular internet bundle since Hawk and Tuah. Check out the link to see what other limited-time bundles we’re spitting out. [More Deals]( We met with the CEO of TikTok We’ve been making a bit of a splash on TikTok lately. Some of our viral videos include a Pan v3 hunting down an Uber driver, [a scale showing what’s actually important](, [a cordless vacuum beating out Dyson in a rice test](, and many, many more. The CEO of TikTok took notice and invited us in for a meeting to talk about our experience on the platform. We were asked to present our feedback in an ASMR format, which was equal parts challenging and satisfying. New app update Last month, we revealed a huge update was coming to the Wyze app. After heavy beta testing, we’ve decided to hold off on the release for at least another month so we can implement more feedback from users. We’ll keep you posted on the new release date. For now, we suggest you take a minute to familiarize yourself with the new app icon. Wyze at CVPR 2024 CVPR might look like a bunch of random letters to you, and that’s ok. You can skip this section. Take the opportunity to call your mom, she doesn’t hear from you enough. Computer vision experts know that CVPR is a big AI conference that was hosted here in Seattle this year! We took an opportunity to sponsor the event, and a bunch of our team members went downtown to show off new Wyze AI tools we’ve been working on. Check out the video below, and if we are talking to people who know what CVPR is, [apply to an AI position at Wyze](! [Check It Out]( Video of the Month: Remember how Wyze Cam can detect smoke alarms, too? Wyze user Adam Samuelson found that surprising feature particularly useful this month when a disposable vape exploded in his living room and lit his house on fire. [Watch how Wyze Cam saves his house and his cats]( in this mini-documentary he sent us. Wow. Adam, we’re so happy you and your cats are safe. For real, thanks for sharing your story and reminding us why we do this job. Surviving the fire. Since we’re talking about fire, Wyze user Jackie sent us this Cam Outdoor that survived a cabin fire. This camera still works fine. 😎 DI-Wyze: Wyze [user u/Outside15605](used a Raspberry Pi and Wyze Web View to stream 4 cameras at once from his living room. Awesome. We love the creative setup, BUT with the updates we made last month to the monitoring tab, you can now do this with just an iPad or Android tablet. You don’t even need a subscription. If you missed it, check out the [brand new multi-cam monitoring experience](that lets you see 4 cameras and 4 timelines at once. [Try It Out]( [Catch Up On Updates]( That’s it from us this month, we’ll catch you on the next one.
