Your voice is needed on the Advocacy team. [Youth Advocates meet and pray with their member of Congress in D.C.]( “God is about making the world right. We have the opportunity to join Him in that.” – Brian Wright, Pastor & World Vision Advocate Dear {NAME}, We are grateful for the ways that you support God’s transformational work through World Vision. We invite you to take your next step in supporting this transformation by shining the light and hope of Christ right in your own community – just where God has planted you. You can make a powerful impact with your time and talent that supports transformation globally, nationally, and right in your heart. Beginning in August, [World Vision Advocates]( meet with their members of Congress to bring them hope and encouragement through our biblical approach to advocacy. You can help bring light to the darkest places affected by hunger, poverty, and crisis. [JOIN US]( [We advocate for children and families]( around the world – those who are served by the very work you already support! Our advocacy is bipartisan, relational, and motivated by our faith and calling. We follow Christ who serves as our model: Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. - Proverbs 31:8-9 Our Lord cared for people who were marginalized, met physical and spiritual needs, and spoke boldly about loving our neighbors. We follow Him into the hardest places, and advocate for those we meet there. Our Congressional leaders may not know about the challenges children are facing around the world. The most impactful way for Congress to hear about World Vision’s life-saving work is through supporters like you. Your voice could be the one that helps create change for children around the world – for good! In today’s hectic world filled with opposing topics and opinions, we can be a source of light and hope. [TAKE THE NEXT STEP IN YOUR ADVOCACY JOURNEY]( By meeting with congressional offices (virtually or in person), your voice can impact millions of children. Just a few hours a year could help empower a child for a lifetime. Most Advocates who join our team have no previous advocacy experience. They simply have a heart to serve. Join us as we link arms together for the needs of vulnerable children. We need your voice now, {NAME}, and look forward to working with you!
