Here’s what else is happening: - The New York City Campaign Finance Board isn’t making good on its promise of transparency. After announcing Executive Director Beth Rotman would be resigning from her position, [a Gothamist investigation found she was actually asked to step aside]( over concerns about her management.
- A new study by the Center for Justice Innovation found most young people are [carrying guns because they have a fear of dying](. The organization hopes that data point, and more, will change the narrative around gun violence and help create a more informed response to it.
