But today, I want to take a step back and share the story of how I first got involved in politics. In 2016, while I was serving as the president of my synagogue in Nevada, Senator Harry Reid recruited me to run in a competitive House race to help flip a red seat blue. Looking back, it's incredibly fitting that this was my entry point to public service – because my Judaism helps guide much of my work in the Senate today. In fact, my decision to say "yes" and run for public office in the first place was guided by the Jewish principle of Tikkun Olam – which means to leave the world a better place than how we found it. Now, as the third Jewish woman and only former synagogue president in Senate history, I'm proud to serve Nevada and our country. And I'm as committed as ever to keep fighting to better this world and make positive change happen. But I need your help. The Cook Political Report has been calling Nevada the “most perilous" battleground for Democrats. And as we enter the final stretch of this race, polls now show me losing crucial ground to my extreme MAGA opponent. So please, I have to urgently ask: [If the principle of Tikkun Olam resonates with you – if you're with me to continue making progress for the people and communities that we love – will you split $5 or more between my campaign and the Progressive Caucus to keep Nevada blue so Democrats can defend our Senate majority, take back the House, and win the White House?]( If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly between Jacky Rosen and the Progressive Caucus : [Donate $5]( [Donate $25]( [Donate $50]( [Donate $100]( [Donate $250]( [Other Amount]( Thank you. – Jacky Rosen This message was sent to: [{EMAIL}](#) [Click here to receive fewer emails.]( | [Click here to unsubscribe.]( [Progressive Caucus PAC |Text 'CPC' to 20704](#) Thousands of Progressives have signed up to receive our messages straight to their phone!
