Plus, traffic is back this Thanksgiving. Here's what to know [Donate ❤️]( [View in Browser]( Â November 22, 2021Â Showers this morning; clouds and wind continue for the day. Highs near 50. Good Morning Boston, I'm filling in for Meagan, who is taking a couple of well-deserved days off. Here's what you need to know today: - Today, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu is expected to sign an ordinance banning the investment of public money in the fossil fuel industry. The ban also applies to companies that get more than 15% of their revenue from prisons or tobacco products. It will be the first measure Wu signs into law as mayor. - The Curley K-8 School in Jamaica Plain reopens for in-person learning today after closing on Nov. 10 due to a COVID outbreak. Officials with Boston Public Schools say the campus was sanitized while the school was closed. - The bike lanes on the Mass. Ave. Bridge between Boston and Cambridge will be a bit wider thanks to a pilot program running through the winter. Cyclists will have a protected bike lane, and drivers will have only one lane in each direction instead of two. - Maine officials hold a hearing today to discuss the future of a project that would bring hydroelectric energy from Canada into New England. Construction of the 145-mile transmission project was stopped after Maine voters [rejected the plan]( earlier this month. It would have brought enough power into New England to power 1 million homes. - The Worcester Police Department is getting $250,000 from the state to implement the use of police body cameras. Worcester's police chief says the city hopes to start using the cameras next year. P.S. Thanksgiving may still be a few days away, but holiday travel has already begun. State officials expect roads, train stations and airports to be nearly as busy as before the pandemic. Here's [what you need to know]( if you'll be traveling this year. Amy Gorel
