From Waking Times [View in Web Browser]( [Remedy]( No matter where you fall on the spectrum, whether you vaccinate or you don’t, the reality is that vaccines have become THE hot-button issue of our time. Expand your education on July 26th. [Register for FREE Now!]( Hi Friends, Gathering self-knowledge is critical in the work of self-mastery, and knowing your weaknesses and strengths is instrumental to staying in your power and experiencing the outcomes you seek to create in life. Culturally, however, we're misled to believe that softer qualities like sensitivity and emotional intelligence are of lesser value than the yang qualities of toughness, strength, and a domineering spirit. In 2018 I was assisting in facilitating a group of participants in a week of sacred iboga ceremonies, and during our downtime by the pool a guest from Australia made a not-so-subtle attempt to get under my skin and ruffle my feathers. I'm a rather strong and lean man, and I've been practicing martial arts for over 20 years, so I really don't have any reason to take shit from anyone, but this guest wanted me to feel small in order to make himself feel big. In front of the rest of the group he called me out for being so confident and hanging out shirtless pool side, saying in a loud voice and obnoxious tone he said, "oh look at you, you're so tough, but I but the truth is that you're really very sensitive." I smiled. I laughed. I was definitely caught off guard, but his comment didn't have the effect on me he was seeking. In reality it stirred within me a deep reflection about my own personal nature. And you know what. I am sensitive. I'm actually one of the most sensitive people I know. And I'm totally cool with that and being tough at the same time. It's called balance, and it allows me to navigate life with ease and relate to people in an instant. So today I thought I'd share a few of our very popular articles on empaths and emotional intelligence as a reminder that it truly is a great thing to nurture your sensitive side. As a self-mastery coach I assist others in uncovering their true nature and in seeing the parts of themself they haven't ever paid much attention to. If you'd like to experience my coaching, book a FREE 15-minute call with me, [HERE](.
