Those of us who are Veterans swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. I will not break that oath, even in this dark hour. I will not surrender, and I am proud to continue to protect our Constitution with VoteVets. [VoteVets] {NAME}, it’s Paul. There is no utility in avoiding the difficult truth today: Now that Vice President Harris has conceded to Donald Trump, we face the grim reality that a man we did everything we could to defeat will again become the Commander in Chief. I will not sugarcoat the results. We should not. Moving forward and regaining the initiative requires us to confront the results of this election with open eyes. But even now, even at this dark hour, we have cause for optimism. VoteVets was the critical player last night, and we had an incredible impact around the country. VoteVets candidates outfought their opposition and won tough races up and down the ballot. Principled leaders will be serving at all levels of government at a time that we need them most — including Pat Ryan, Don Davis, Chris DeLuzio, Eugene Vindman, and more in the House of Representatives. Elissa Slotkin has been declared the victor in her Senate campaign in Michigan. Even now, the work continues. We have a good man in the field. Ruben Gallego is locked in a tight race in Arizona, and [if you are looking for a way to have an impact you can support him as he fights to ensure every vote is counted by chipping in to his campaign here.]( Each of us has a role to play in the coming days, months, and years. We are the legacy of men and women who risked their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to live in freedom. A nation I am proud to have served in uniform. Those of us who are Veterans swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. I will not break that oath, especially in this dark hour. I will not surrender, and I am proud to continue to uphold our Constitution with VoteVets. You have my word that we will continue defending our democracy, and we need you with us. There is purposeful work ahead for you, should you choose to join us. Thank you for all you’ve done, and all you will do in the fights ahead.
