[LGBTQ+ Victory Fund logo]( Friend, Today is full of emotions as we process Election Night, and the changes that lie ahead for our country. Please take care, connect with loved ones, and get out of the news cycle as you need to for yourself and well-being. Despite the fears and uncertainty, there is one thing you can be sure of – LGBTQ+ Victory Fund and LGBTQ+ Victory Institute remain committed to the work we do each day – getting LGBTQ+ candidates into office. We support candidates at every level, most of which are down-ballot, and we are the only global organization providing that level of support. We are proud of the way LGBTQ+ people showed up in 2024 and will continue to show up for the future of our nation. Many of you poured your heart and soul into this election: canvassing, phone banking, donating, and otherwise rising to the occasion for up and down-ballot LGBTQ+ candidates — for that we say “Thank you.” Because of your commitment, there is also reason to remain hopeful, as we watched a number of our endorsed candidates secure victory last night. Sarah McBride clinched her historic win in Delaware, and Tammy {NAME} fought homophobic attacks to retain her senate seat in Wisconsin. We’ll have more LGBTQ+ representation in the House, which is even more important now to ensure pro-equality voices have impact in lawmaking. History was made in Texas with Julie Johnson, and in Kentucky with Keturah Herron. Several LGBTQ+ state legislative candidates in key states nationwide won their races. So far, more than 200 LGBTQ+ candidates have won their races and we’re still counting. We have a long road ahead, and an opportunity to redouble our efforts to create the most pro-equality government possible. The LGBTQ+ community is no stranger to hard times, and together, we overcome them. And we will forge ahead because our work is that much more vital, our mission that much more critical. Thank you for your dedication to democracy, and the mission of this organization. After we rest, let this moment in history strengthen our resolve to win. Onward, Mayor Annise Parker Pronouns: she|her|hers President & CEO, LGBTQ+ Victory Fund LGBTQ+ Victory Fund is the political arm of the LGBTQ+ community. Since our founding in 1991, we’ve supported and elected LGBTQ+ candidates like U.S. Senator Tammy {NAME}, Governors Maura Healey, Tina Kotek and Jared Polis and thousands of LGBTQ+ candidates around the country. We’re proud to be the only national organization endorsing pro-equality and pro-choice LGBTQ+ candidates in the United States. We’ve shattered rainbow ceilings in all 50 states and broken election records. [Meet our latest endorsements here!]( We’ve shattered rainbow ceilings in all 50 states and broken election records.
