For many of the same Republicans onscreen—such as Kevin McCarthy, Steve Scalise, Elise Stefanik, Matt Gaetz, and Lauren Boebert—were among the 139 House members who tried to overturn Joe Biden’s decisive victory in the hours after that deadly assault.
