And rightly so, because there’s much to unpack from it (as long as you ignore the fake accents). Seeing an all-female army demonstrate incredible strength and dominance is inspiring, regardless of your gender. But it also hints at a salient fact - African women have a long history of being underestimated. For instance, did you know that Africa has the highest percentage of female entrepreneurs globally? That’s right, women make up nearly 60 per cent of Africa’s self-employed population. And somehow, we don’t talk about that enough. So I think it’s fair that we recognize the modern “woman kings” dominating our business and tech space.
