Thank you for your continued support. [USA for UNFPA]( Now that we are halfway through the year, I wanted to reach out and share the impact supporters like you have made on the lives of women and girls around the world: In 2024 alone, UNFPA has already assisted millions of women, girls, and young people with a range of life-saving services, supplies, and information — all fueled by your generous gifts. Thank you for being there for women and girls in their darkest moments. You delivered care where it was needed most: in Gaza and the West Bank, Sudan, Haiti, the Congo, Ukraine, Yemen, and more crisis-stricken regions across the world. While the world moved on from crisis after crisis, your support was steadfast. In Gaza, where basic necessities including feminine hygiene products are scarce or totally out of reach, UNFPA has distributed 134,000 Reproductive Health Kits and Dignity Kits so women and girls can manage their periods with dignity. [Dignity Kits in Gaza]( “May God bless you, because this is the first time I have received such a package since the day we were displaced,” said one recipient of a UNFPA Dignity Kit in Rafah. In Sudan, UNFPA has reached more than 600,000 women and girls with violence response and prevention services amidst the largest refugee crisis in the world. [Women in Sudan]( “They offered us a lifeline,” Amina, who has been displaced in Sudan, said. “The feeling that there is someone who cares about you, especially as a displaced person, means so much,” another Sudanese woman, Samia, told us. Our work is far from finished as needs still persist around the world. No matter where, UNFPA will be there to answer the call. Thank you for being a part of this lifesaving work. Thank you for being there for women and girls. Sincerely, [Anu Surendran] Anu Surendran Chief Executive Officer USA for UNFPA Your gift today will empower women and girls in over 150 countries to plan their pregnancies, to survive childbirth, and to rebuild their lives after violence.
