It's not too late to transform lives this holiday season!   {NAME}, This holiday season, many families are struggling to make ends meet. They’re living paycheck to paycheck and barely getting by. In response, United Way is bringing companies, schools, philanthropic partners, nonprofits, and local governments together to address the wide-ranging causes of financial insecurity that affect so many of our neighbors.   We know that sustainable solutions are essential to change the trajectory of someone’s financial prospects. That’s why we’re investing in innovative programs – from internships and job shadowing to guaranteed income programs and free tax filing support. With strategies like employment support programs, financial literacy classes and more, United Way breaks down barriers to economic mobility. We’re creating pathways to success that provide increased wages, career advancement, benefits, and more. Geno, a participant in a guaranteed income program supported by United Way, was able to pay for tutoring for his 11-year-old son, provide food for his family, and had enough left over for the first family outing in over a decade.  "I've felt so much less month-to-month stress since this program started. It feels like I have some room to breathe." -Geno Breaking the cycle of poverty requires more than addressing immediate basic needs. Instead, we need lasting solutions – embraced by all sectors in our community – that give everyone a chance to thrive. When you support United Way, you're helping to create a better future, more opportunities for people to reach their full potential, and stronger communities.  Please donate today and help make a lasting difference in the lives of families.
