We've helped children succeed in school, adults get good-paying jobs, and increased access to health

We've helped children succeed in school, adults get good-paying jobs, and increased access to health services for individuals across the world. But there's still more work to be done. [View in browser]( [Creating Opportunities Header Image]( {NAME}, As we approach the holiday season, I am reflecting on the impact you and so many United Way supporters have had on our communities. Thanks to your support, United Way is creating opportunities for more individuals and families to thrive. But our communities need us now more than ever! A Pew Research Center survey says 1 in 4 parents in America struggle to support their family’s basic needs. More than 50% of families earning low wages lack resources for food or housing, and more than 1 in 3 also struggle to pay for health care and child care. United Way is mobilizing the resources needed to help adults get good-paying jobs, access to health services to help live healthy lives, and to help children succeed in school. But there's more work to be done. Too many of our neighbors are struggling to make ends meet. With the cost of food, rent, utilities, and other essentials continuing to rise, United Ways are working hard to meet increasing need. That's why I'm asking you to consider supporting United Way this holiday season. If you make a donation between now and Giving Tuesday on November 28, our partner [Kellanova]( (formerly Kellogg Company) and its charitable fund will match your donation, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000. Make a gift today to double the opportunities available for families and individuals! [Give to Create Opportunity Today]( Thank you for supporting United Way, Angela F. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
