[United Cargo] Operational Alert August 27, 2024 United Airlines is aware that the Transportation Security Administration has issued a Cargo Security Directive (SD 1544-24-02). We are working closely with the regulators and IATA on clarifying the mandate and how it will affect our screening processes for shipments originating in or transferring through European countries into or through the United States. We are currently reviewing the SD and how United Cargo will comply with this directive. As soon as we find out more information and determine our new procedures, we will communicate the required data and security details to you. If you have any questions about our advanced screening processes, please feel free to reach out to the United Cargo Compliance Team at CargoCompliance@united.com. Additional information about Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) can be found here: [US CBP ACAS Implementation Guide](. We look forward to providing safe, swift, and secure transport for all your shipments to and from these countries.
