Hot enough for ya? *spontaneously combusts into a ball of flames* If your power grid supports both your A/C and your television, then you’ve got a good reason to stay indoors this week, particularly on Friday, which features a bunch of great new releases. In fact, the picks in this week’s newsletter are all coming out on Friday, so stay cool ‘til then. I recommend entombing yourself in a block of ice. Here’s what to watch this week. -Tim   Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!   SEASON 2 PREMIERES FRIDAY ON AMAZON PRIME VIDEO [Good Omens is back from the heavens to Hamm it up]( Both the demon and the angel on your shoulders will be yelling in your ear to watch the second season of the supernatural dramedy Good Omens, which returns to Prime Video after 2019's six-episode supposedly one-and-done limited series based on Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's book about uptight angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and hard-partying demon Crowley (David Tennant), who team up to stop Earth from succumbing to an apocalypse. The new season comes from unrealized ideas from showrunner Gaiman and the late Pratchett and involves the mystery of how the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) shows up on Earth. SEASON 2 PREMIERES FRIDAY ON STARZ [Heels comes in from the top rope as your new favorite small town sports drama]( When it comes to small town sports dramas that aren’t really about sports at all, Friday Night Lights is the champ. But sliding in under the radar right behind it is Starz’s wrestling drama Heelz, which kicks off its second season this weekend, nearly two years after Season 1 premiered. Stephen Amell stars as Jack Spade, a pro wrestler in Georgia looking to live up to the name of his late wrestling great father while also battling his brother Ace (Alexander Ludwig) in and out of the ring. The scripted headlocks under the lights spill out into their real lives, making Heels more about a fractured family than dudes in spandex tossing each other around. SEASON 2 PREMIERES FRIDAY ON HULU [This Fool asks if losers can ever stop losing]( One of 2022's most sneaky-good comedies is back for mas. The series about man-child Julio (Chris Estrada), who works at a South Central Los Angeles gang rehabilitation center with his fresh-out-of-prison cousin Luis (Frankie Quiñones), comes from Pat Bishop, Jake Weisman, and Matt Ingebretson, the twisted minds who delivered Comedy Central's Corporate. If your life could use more former gangsters making cupcakes, this is for you. (But also it's for everyone, because it's so good!) -Tim Surette SEASON 3 PREMIERES FRIDAY ON HBO AND HBO MAX [How to with John Wilson says goodnight, New York]( As John Wilson once said, "Wow." Quietly one of TV's best and most surprisingly touching shows, How to With John Wilson is saying goodbye with a run of final episodes that are sure to make us let out a lot of disbelieving laughter and marvel at Wilson's uncanny ability to make the mundane so interesting as he walks the streets of New York and shows us the city through his unique lens. -Allison Picurro [Unsubscribe]( © 2023 TV Guide, A Fandom, Inc. company.
