Binge this millennial cult comedy before its long-awaited return, listen to musicians pursue their dreams on PBS, and one of the funniest guys alive stops by The Tonight Show. Hello! Cobra Kai, one of YouTube’s standout originals, is now one of YouTube’s former originals. Score one for those of us who want the number of streaming options to go down, as YouTube is officially out of the original scripted programming businessand going all in on cat videos and guys ranting into their phone camera while sitting in parked cars. Cobra Kai — a satirical continuation of the Karate Kid story told mostly from the P.O.V. of the villainous Cobra Kai dojo — [now heads to the black hole of streaming, Netflix](. The first two seasons, which were both great, will appear on Netflix later this year, with Season 3 debuting exclusively on the ‘flix. Here are today’s TV picks. –Tim [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!]( WATCH THIS NOW [Floor Is Lava]( [Floor Is Lava is the dumb fun your brain needs]( Now on Netflix In the tradition of dumbass obstacle course games like Wipeout and Most Extreme Elimination Challenge — both of which are awesome — comes this souped-up version of the game we all played as children. Teams try to get from one end of a room to the other, without landing in a pit of scolding hot molten magma. Except it's just colored water, so no one actually dies. Netflix, if you have the budget to haul in 10,000 gallons of lava, why didn't you? Also, you had the budget to add a "The" to the beginning of the show's title, why didn't you? Floor Is Lava is currently the No. 1 show on Netflix (according to Netflix) and it’s a surprisingly fun way to waste some time. [SHOP NOW]( FIND THIS [Search Party]( [Gather up a Search Party to find your next binge]( Seasons 1 and 2 on HBO Max For the past several months, the pandemic has had everyone stuck at home desperately searching for some good TV to watch, and we here at TV Guide have been going deep to suggest new shows, our old favorites, and under-the-radar shows that were nearly forgotten. One of those that fall into the latter category is Search Party, which aired its most recent episode in late 2017, but is primed for bingeing with its long-awaited third season coming out this Thursday on HBO Max. The cult comedy-drama, which previously aired on TBS, follows four millennial friends who go searching for a missing young woman because they need something to do, think they are more important than they are, and are searching for self-purpose, which makes it one of the best shows to capture the tone and (big) mood of the millennial generation. The Season 1 finale is one of my favorite season-enders in recent memory, an episode that perfectly captures the show’s odd tone and message. With 20 20-something-minute episodes to get through, if you start today, you can be ready for Thursday’s Season 3 premiere. MAKE IT A MOVIE NIGHT [Ford V. Ferrari]( [Ford vs. Ferrari is a race to perfection]( Now on HBO's Streaming Apps Logan director James Mangold heads to the track with Matt Damon and Christian Bale behind the wheel of this high-octane car-racing movie that puts the pedal to the metal and got the checkered flag from many film critics when it crossed the starting line late last year. Damon stars as car designer Carroll Shelby and Bale is racer Ken Miles in this based-on-a-true-story about two people who sought perfection and took on the juggernaut Ferrari racing team in the 1960s. It’s a crowd-pleasing film with great performances. PIPE UP [Pipe Dreams]( [Pipe Dreams is an instrumental documentary]( Monday at 10/9c on PBS The best way to learn about a new subject is to watch a documentary on it, and I’m going to go out on a limb here and say you and I don’t know a whole lot about playing pipe organs, which seems like playing four keyboards, Dance Dance Revolution, and a telephone switchboard at the same time. Stacey Tenenbaum’s hour-long film Pipe Dreams will give you a crash course on one of the most recognizable but complicated musical instruments by following four young competitors in the Canadian International Organ Competition, the Olympics for organists. All four participants — from various countries — are fascinating and incredibly confident in their abilities, and the hard work and dedication to their craft is inspiring. The film starts months before the final competition, before culminating in the pressure-packed finals. And if you close your eyes, you can just pretend you are at a Dodgers game. STAY UP FOR THIS [Will Ferrell]( [Will Ferrell stops by The Tonight Show]( Monday at 11:35/10:35c on NBC Fact: Everyone loves Will Ferrell. He’ll virtually stop by Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show to just be Will Ferrell, which is what we all want, but also to promote his upcoming Netflix film Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, in which he plays one half of an Icelandic music duo competing in Europe’s biggest music competition. John Legend will also drop by, fresh off yesterday’s Father’s Day special that he hosted. [Unsubscribe]( | [View online]( ©2020 CBS Interactive | All Rights Reserved. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
