A bunch of super-talented freaks get together to decide who is the most talented, an HBO doc looks at a fascinating subculture, and the stars of a seminal ‘90s movie reunite. Hello! It’s kind of a rip-off that all the presidents’ birthdays are lumped into one holiday, when we could have recognized each one individually and had an extra 44 days off from work. But alas, we only get today, which has us a little down on our commanders-in-chief. That makes today a good day to celebrate the [fictional presidents from TV and film]( who would be better than what we have now. Seriously, have you seen [Designated Survivor]( We’d run full-speed into an alien invasion for Tom Kirkman! Take a look, and come back for tonight’s TV picks: [Your Watch This Now! newsletter is created by Senior Recommendations and Reviews Editor Tim Surette and more show-obsessed editors at TV Guide!]( WATCH THIS NOW [Manifest]( [Will Manifest crash land its ending?]( Season 1 finale airs Monday at 10/9c on NBC Finally! *TV promo announcer voice* “All. Your. Questions. Will. Be. Answered!” Broadcast TV’s biggest new puzzle will be (partially) solved tonight, as the future of the survivors of Flight 828 comes into focus, and it’s a doozy. There’s a [massive twist at the end of the episode]( obviously, and it’s one that will shape Season 2 and however long this show goes on for, plus there’s a requisite cliffhanger ending to keep you drooling until next season. Manifest hit some turbulence during its first season, but finales of overly mysterious sci-fi shows are always worth a peek to see if they stick the landing or fall flat on their faces. WE GOT YOUR TALENT RIGHT HERE [America's Got Talent: The Champions]( [Will America prevail in America’s Got Talent: The Champions?]( Season finale airs Monday at 8/7c on NBC Twelve talented people enter! One talented person leaves! It’s a virtual Talentdome in the season finale of America’s Got Talent: Champions, which brings winners and favorites from all the global versions of the Got Talent franchise together in competition to determine the absolutely most talented person in the known universe. Among the finalists are the heavenly voice of [Susan Boyle]( the sand art of [Kseniya Seminova]( and the mind-boggling magic of [Shin Lim]( [but according to our poll]( most fans think adorable homegrown ventriloquist [Darci Lynne]( is the favorite. USA! USA! USA! ROCK ‘N’ ROLL [United Skates]( [United Skates looks at a vibrant subculture on the verge of extinction]( Premieres Monday at 8/7c on HBO There’s something to be said about watching a program about people having a grand old time, and people are having an absolute ball in this HBO documentary about the subculture of roller skating. Most don’t know how important roller rinks were to the development of hip-hop (one rink owner proudly says Dr. Dre was the first DJ at his Compton rink), and old footage of [Salt-N-Pepa]( [Busta Rhymes]( and others will give you retroactive FOMO. But the real stars here are the dazzling skaters, who, like rap, flash different styles depending on where they’re from. For example, the West Coast loves to slide to gangster rap, and Chicago loves to low shuffle to James Brown. These rinks weren’t just where people went to blow off steam; several skaters talk about how they met their spouses on the floor, how they went there with their grandparents and how mothers bring their families to the rink to continue the tradition. However, the fun is sadly ending, as many rinks are shutting down as interest in skating wanes and developers can make more money from erecting a Walmart in their place. Like all great documentaries, it’s uplifting, emotional and educational. STAY UP FOR THIS [Reality Bites]( [It’s a Reality Bites reunion on The Tonight Show]( Monday at 11:35/10:35c on The CW Before millennials were changing the world with their activism and unflinching determination in the face of the powerful status quo, Generation X was, uhhh, mostly slacking off and listening to grunge. One of the premiere Gen X movies of the time, [Reality Bites]( came out 25 years ago today, so [Jimmy Fallon]( is bringing the cast back to catch up and listen to Soundgarden or something. [Ben Stiller]( [Ethan Hawke]( [Winona Ryder]( and [Janeane Garofalo]( join Fallon, and that has us wondering why [Steve Zahn]( won’t be there. C’mon, Steve! We’re also wondering how we missed the [Singles]( reunion two years ago, if there was one. [Unsubscribe]( | [View online]( ©2019 CBS Interactive | All Rights Reserved.
