In it, three Yakuza — members of Japanese organized crime — are sentenced by their boss to pay for their misdeeds by [brace yourself] getting sex changes in order to become an all-female pop band. You could listen to [David Schwimmer]( play a giraffe in [Madagascar 2]( or you could watch this uplifting new film starring [Jennifer Aniston](. She plays a former Texas pageant queen whose plus-sized daughter challenges preconceptions about body image by entering a beauty pageant, making for an underdog feel-good movie that comes at the right time of year. It also has a soundtrack from [Dolly Parton]( giving it a fun, honkytonk vibe that’ll ward off the thoughts of shoveling snow for at least a week. [Agnostic Front: Godfathers of Hardcore]( [Get in the pit with Agnostic Front: Godfathers of Hardcore]( Wednesday at 10/9c on Showtime Showtime’s four-night run of rock ‘n’ roll documentaries continues with an award-winning movie focused on one of hardcore’s legendary acts, New York City’s Agnostic Front. Bands, and the tension within them, always make good subjects for films, but the history behind this punk outfit that’s been going strong for more than 30 years packs Godfathers of Hardcore with entertainment.
