[Trend Trader Daily] Invest Early in Elon’s New $7 Billion Mission Tuesday, October 11, 2022 Wall Street’s been focused on the takeover battle for Twitter Inc. (TWTR). But we’ve had our eye on a different proposal from Elon Musk. You see, the same entrepreneur who electrified the auto industry now wants the world to go nuclear. Let me explain… You know Musk as the man who turned the car industry on its head with Tesla Inc. (TSLA). You know Musk as a champion for clean-energy tech. But he’s also on a mission to champion a different technology — a tech that’s been radically out of favor for decades: nuclear power! For example, at a recent conference in Norway, Musk called on Europe to support the nuclear industry in this era of extreme volatility for oil and gas. I believe Musk is onto something big here. Consider that eco-friendly California just decided to keep its remaining nuclear power plant open. In fact, it now plans to keep it open for another five years. In other words, as we move to a Net Zero economy (where no new net carbon enters the atmosphere), I believe nuclear power is about to become vastly important. And now I’ve uncovered a great way to invest in this trend: It’s an established firm that’s on pace to soon double its earnings… And today, I’ll tell you everything you need to know. > ADVERTISEMENT < $130 trillion revolution in this cup? Don't try this at home. Former Goldman Sachs executive Nomi Prins recently drank the contents of a brand-new type of battery... To reveal why 5 billionaires are investing in [this tiny $4 company behind it.]( And how it could unleash a $130 trillion energy revolution. [Watch the 30-second demo here.]( Focus on What the Media is Missing The Twitter battle has dominated the news recently… But as savvy investors, we know the best way to make money is to focus on what the media is missing. And what they’re missing is Musk’s call for more nuclear power. For example, while in Europe recently, Musk argued for keeping more reactors open. He said giving up the technology is “insane” for national security, and “bad for the environment.” These words fit with the green-tech visionary’s history of boosting nuclear power. For example, in a March interview, Musk said the world needs to stop closing nuclear power plants, and reopen the ones that were closed after the 2011 Fukushima disaster. The thing is, such comments are getting a far better reception now that the world finds itself in an energy crisis… Germany Changes Its Stance Toward Nuclear Power As you might know, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine led to sanctions of its oil exports. As punishment, Russia closed its major pipeline for natural gas sales to Europe. This has led to energy inflation in Europe of 40%, and that number is still on the rise. So it’s no surprise that Germany just announced a nuclear-policy turnaround… The nation’s last three reactors were due to be shut down at the end of this year. But now, two will remain online at least until the middle of 2023. This news is especially significant because the economic minister who made the announcement hails from Germany’s Green Party, which was founded in 1993 to demand an end to nuclear power. France Goes Nuclear Meanwhile, France has long relied heavily on nuclear power. In 2018, almost 72% of its electricity came from nuclear, the highest figure in the world. But no new nuclear reactors have been built there in years, leading to occasional shortfalls. The country had been exploring moving to renewables. But today’s energy crisis is changing its plans. Consider that France’s President, Emmanuel Macron, won reelection last April with a pledge to build as many as 14 new reactors, adding to the 56 already in place. Friends — everything I’ve told you so far explains something important: It explains why I like a certain stock right now. Introducing: BWX Technologies Based in Lynchburg, Virginia, BWX Technologies Inc. (BWXT) has been on the cutting-edge of nuclear power for decades. To see how central the company is to the world’s nuclear power capabilities, consider this: Today, there are some 440 nuclear reactors in operation worldwide. Each one relies on complex steam-generators to convert the heat of nuclear reactions into electrical power. BWXT has supplied 315 of them. In addition, it supplies critical reactor parts and nuclear fuel to existing and new reactors. In short, the firm is crucial to any buildout of nuclear power. Plus an Emerging $7 Billion Market Furthermore, it’s targeting the emerging field of small modular reactors (SMRs). Unlike sprawling plants that take up acres, SMRs are compact enough to be built in a factory and then shipped to the location where they’ll operate. By definition, these prefab units are relatively simple, meaning they’re unlikely to face years of construction delays typical of full-scale nuclear power plants. This is a big opportunity. The SMR market is expected to be worth $7 billion by 2030. To be clear, the firm doesn’t use the term SMR in its investor info. Instead, it talks about “microreactors.” Indeed, last June, it reported it will build the first microreactor ever to be installed in the U.S., with a unit of the Pentagon as the client. If the client exercises all of its options, this prototype will have a value of approximately $300 million. Involved at Every Stage To maintain safety, BWX will ship the reactor and the fuel separately. And make no mistake. BWX has deep expertise with nuclear tech and safety. In the mid 1950s, for example, it made parts for the first nuclear-powered submarine in the world, the USS Nautilus. Since then, it’s delivered more than 400 nuclear reactors to the U.S. Navy. The firm also monetizes the other end of the process. You see, “spent” fuel from nuclear reactors needs to be treated and stored in a specific manner. BWXT runs 18 storage sites for the U.S. government. Meanwhile, it’s working with NASA to develop a nuclear-powered propulsion system for use in space. And it even supplies nuclear imaging and radiotherapy devices for use in healthcare. BWXT’s Profits Are on the Rise With demand for new nuclear reactors rising, the life of old reactors being extended, and many “mothballed” reactors being restarted, it’s no wonder BWXT’s per-share profits are on the rise. In the most recent quarter, earnings grew 32% from the year-ago quarter. Even better, earnings growth was more than 3x higher than sales growth. This reflects vastly improved efficiencies, and it leads to higher cash flow. Bottom line: going forward, nuclear reactors are expected to play a far bigger role in powering our energy needs… And BWXT can take advantage of this trend to power your portfolio!   FOR TREND TRADER PRO READERS ONLY > [LEARN MORE]( < Cheers and Good Investing, [Michael Robinson] Michael Robinson Chief Investment Officer Trend Trader Daily   Copyright © Trend Trader Daily, All rights reserved. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
