I knew I’d never be well enough to go so my eldest daughter and partner are going. Just so thrilled for her.” Jodie won one of the Northern Rail “Traincation” prizes and will be enjoying an overnight stay at Ensana Buxton Crescent Hotel in the Peak District. Liana won the Greatest Hits Radio competition for a mini-cruise to Amsterdam or Rotterdam plus £200 spending money. Carla was delighted with her first win after entering the crisp in, crisp out Walkers competition: “…I have won a 3 night stay in Falmouth with a speed boat experience. I've been entering competitions on and off for 9 years. This is my first big win. Stay with it, don't get disheartened. It will happen to you.” Ang is off to see The Courteeners with an overnight stay at Ibis Style Leeds Arena hotel after winning their competition on Instagram. Another Leeds comp winner is Artemis. She’ll be staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel in the city. And not all wins have to be huge ones… Lisa was pleased with her runner-up prize of a beanie hat this week. PRIZEWINNER UPDATES Helen got in touch after returning from her winning holiday to The Maldives - a competition [we featured in February]( “We have just returned from a trip to The Maldives with a stopover in Doha that I won with Qatar Airways early this year. What an amazing trip… Thanks for including the competition on your newsletter.” Elaine updated us after enjoying her prize stay in Berkshire: “Recently won an overnight stay at The Hind’s Head, Aldermaston and we stayed on Friday night. Beautiful room, lovely pub and amazing breakfast.” Graham posted some photos from his Southampton Boat Show online comp-winning week of sailing round the Ionian Islands in Greece: Suzana also enjoyed her prize win recently: “This March, we were lucky enough to win a competition with Artist Residence. Our prize was a fantastic stay at one of their hotels, featuring Bramley products, refreshing cocktails, and a delicious breakfast. We opted for Artist Residence in Bristol and loved our time in the Loft room with its private balcony.” Elizabeth also updated us after enjoying her prize win from March: “Just back from a really lovely weekend in Butterton, Leek that I won back in March. The prize was 2 nights in a self catering farm cottage for 4 of us. Not a fancy win but honestly, we had a wonderful weekend and feel like we've had a week away even though it was only Friday and Saturday night! Keep going everyone - there is good luck out there…” And finally this week, Linda messaged after enjoying a prize from a competition she won last Christmas: “Just returned from a 2 night break in Edinburgh that I won at the beginning of the year in a Christmas competition. Had a fabulous time from start to finish - only improvement could have been the weather. Hotel was perfect with very friendly, accommodating staff & food was excellent. Lots of sightseeing despite the incessant rain. Good luck everyone - hope lots of wins are coming your way.” Congratulations to Tanner, Lindy, Jodie, Liana, Carla, Ang, Artemis, and Lisa! And thanks for the updates, Helen, Elaine, Graham, Suzana, Elizabeth, and Linda! We think it's important that we're transparent about the value our service can bring you, but also the limitations of this email and our website. We're journalistic at heart, with the aim of helping you to save on travelling and holidays. We do this by seeking out great travel and holiday deals, tips and competitions. We do not offer any travel products or services ourselves - we signpost you to those that do via links. While we are careful to always cover reputable companies that are ABTA bonded, we're not perfect, so remember that you use this information at your own risk and we can't accept liability if things go wrong. So if we don't offer any travel products ourselves, how do we sustain the service? Many of our links are affiliated which means that if you purchase a product or service via these links, a small contribution may be made to Travelscoop. You shouldn't notice any difference, as these links don't impact the products at all. If we're unable to get a contribution from a company, we'll still include the link anyway - it's important to us that we cover the whole market. Lastly, do not construe the information contained in this email and on our website as financial advice. Always do your own research to ensure a product or service is right for you and your individual circumstances. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
