TradingView Hey TradingView User, We don’t often send emails, but we often make useful features that our users ask for. Recently we made so many cool things that you probably missed a couple. Here’s a recap of the most interesting ones: YOU ARE AWESOME! Let’s start with the fact that the TradingView community (i.e. You!) shared over [half a million ideas] and [400K chart snapshots]! That’s right, there are now over 900,000 ideas for you to study, learn from and get even better at trading. Keep ’em coming! NEW EXCHANGES We constantly add new exchanges and datafeeds to expand market coverage. Recently we added real-time and intraday data from the [London Stock Exchange], [Indian Exchanges], and the [Chi-X Europe Exchange]. For cryptocurrency fans we added the [Poloniex Exchange] and [Coinbase (GDAX)]. If there are markets and symbols that you desperately need - [let us know]! It’s important for us to know the priorities. NEW STOCK SCREENER We added a [stock screener], which is a great search tool to filter stocks based on metrics that you specify. For example, if you are looking for the cheapest companies that make the most money, you’d filter for Lowest P/E ratio – and the screener will show you those! Here’s a [blog post] with more info. NEW CHARTING FEATURES We know that you love our charting, and we love making the best product in the world. That’s why we add many things that may seem small, but they make all the difference. You be the judge - now you can do [synchronization by date and time] in the multiple chart layout and [apply an indicator to another indicator] with one click. We added [new shortcuts] to improve interaction with charts, [panes with symbol or indicators] can now be maximized with a simple double click. [Alerts and orders] can be set even faster, and alerts themselves are now available [on Heikin Ashi, Kagi, Renko, Point & Figure and Line Break charts]. Also you can [set a color for an entire multi-line drawing], [adjust font size on scales] and change [visibility settings for all drawings]. MORE BROKERS We spend a lot of time and efforts integrating TradingView with brokers and making these connections convenient and secure. Check out the [CQG infrastructure] for futures and the [FXCM Forex broker integration], which is currently in beta testing (and we still need beta testers). DEPTH OF MARKET TRADING (CQG) We are happy to announce a new trading tool on TradingView - Depth of market (DOM). Depth of Market, aka the Order Book, is a window that shows how many open buy and sell orders there are at different prices for a security. It’s already available on the charting platform, [check it out]! NEW PINE SCRIPT FEATURES For those who love writing their own indicator and strategies with Pine - we are constantly expanding the possibilities of this language. Of course you know that Pine now supports the [if statement] and [loops and mutable variables]. Also take a look at [new variables in Pine], [transparency option], [parameter “editable”], [multiple colors in fill()] and [custom OHLC bars and candles]. And of course [alerts conditions in Pine!] CHARTING LIBRARY UPDATES Reminding our partners who are using the [Charting Library] - a new [version 1.6] and [version 1.5] came out. Don’t forget to take a look at the list of improvements and bug fixes, and update to the new version if you like. NEW RESPONSIVE DESIGN + MOBILE VERSION There’s a new and improved version of the TradingView site! It’s was built to perform well on mobile and tablets - with a responsive tile design it will fit your screen no matter what you are using. It’s also a lot faster and prettier :) Check it out - [] LOCAL VERSIONS OF TRADINGVIEW What makes the TV community unique is 1M+ people from 100+ countries every month. Our aim is to improve user for folks locally - so we are building many local versions! They are adapted so traders can speak in their native language, see local stocks/news/ideas and have their own user rating systems. Currently launched: [Spanish] | [Russian] | [Japan] You can see all the launched ones from a dropdown on the home page. We are also going to build more, so check out the Regional Manager position. VIDEO COVERAGE OF PUBLISHED IDEAS We are experimenting with TipTV, who invite analysts to discuss ideas published on TradingView by our users. Let us know if this is an interesting format by Facebook likes, Twitter messages and messaging @admin on TradingView! [Brexit Show] [Post-Brexit Show] [Latest episode] AND PLEASE FOLLOW THE HOUSE-RULES And also asking all of users to pay extra attention to the [duplicate accounts] issue. TradingView has always been a place where anyone can earn reputation points on equal and fair terms through publishing great ideas and engaging the community. As always, if you have something to discuss please PM [@admin]. If you have ideas for new features, [post them here].
