Israel has started its ground operation into Lebanon, but the biggest concern is whether Israel plans to hit Iran’s oil infrastructure as a payback. U.S. crude futures jumped more than 7% this week on supply concerns. OPEC+ has a large amount of spare crude, so there is some breathing room. Bjarne Schieldrop at SEB said the spare capacity would be enough to cover any disruption to Iran’s exports. However, the biggest wild card is in the Strait of Hormuz. The region consists of important trade arteries for oil in the world, so the effect can be devastating if it is blocked. Schieldrop speculated that oil prices could skyrocket to $200 per barrel in the worst scenario. First-time claims totaled 225,000 for the week ending Sept. 28 — up 6,000 from the previous reading. The estimate was 220,000. Today will deliver the all-important jobs report for the month of September. The last monthly jobs report led to a brutal sell-off in the market. Stocks have been trading sideways lately because traders wouldn’t dare to make major bets ahead of the report. The report could spark volatility in either direction. For traders who were desperate for positive news, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang delivered a bullish update on the AI frenzy. He said that the demand for its next-gen AI chip Blackwell is “insane.” Nvidia is also tripling down to seize the immense opportunity in the AI revolution. - “Everybody wants to have the most and everybody wants to be first,” said Huang. - “At a time when the technology is moving so fast, it gives us an opportunity to triple down, to really drive the innovation cycle so that we can increase capabilities, increase our throughput, decrease our costs, decrease our energy consumption,” Huang said. “We’re on a path to do that, and everything’s on track.” Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (Photo: Cambridge Independent) It briefly sent the Nasdaq up for the day before paring back. It demonstrated that both news, good and bad, can’t propel the market to a new direction. Traders are waiting for the next big catalyst to make big moves. Could it be the jobs report? We will learn the answer this morning. This Is Perhaps One of the Highest-Quality Growth Stocks In the Market Today’s Stock Pick: Axon Enterprise (AXON) There’s no doubt about it — public safety has been one of the hottest topics in America. Everybody wants public safety. However, the biggest problem is finding the balance between safety and justice. We are not going to get political, but technology offers an opportunity to maintain public safety in a humane way. Axon Enterprise is at the forefront of this movement. Its signature product is the Taser. It gives police a non-violent way to immobilize a suspect without long-term injuries. It also offers products like body cameras as a source of “truth” of what happened at the scene. The company is also innovating with AI/ML, robotics, virtual reality (for training purposes), and more. (Source: Axon Enterprise) You can see the lineup of its most popular products — Taser, Axon Cloud, and Sensors: (Source: Axon Enterprise) Let’s talk about the Cloud platform. It offers an all-in-one platform that makes digital evidence workflows easy. Police can enter evidence. They can be redacted for court cases. They can be shared. And so on. The platform also offers real-time operations, report-writing, and more. (Source: Axon Enterprise) For example, Axon Dispatch and Axon Respond allow police to react to 911 calls, alerts, and dispatches quickly. At the scene, any time when the use of force occurs (such as using a Taser), it is logged in [Evidence.com]( as a data point. It will also be sent back to dispatch and operations to keep them updated with what is going on. Axon Body cameras and Fleet cameras also capture the scene in real-time and store evidence via Axon Respond and Axon Evidence. Axon Records adds videos to the incident log and uses AI to save officers’ time. Finally, Axon Justice offers tools for prosecutors and defense attorneys. Do you see how Axon plays critical roles from the beginning to the end? (Source: Axon Enterprise) Its market opportunity is large with a $77 billion TAM, giving the company a long growth runaway: (Source: Axon Enterprise) More importantly, user adoption for Axon’s technologies are still early for international markets. For example, Europe only has a 3% adoption rate for Taser. Latin America and Asia have under 1%. What about body cameras? Europe, Latin America and Asia have under 2%. Clearly, there is a huge opportunity ahead. Axon is only starting to crack the market for its cloud SaaS platform with just 4% adoption rate in the USA. (Source: Axon Enterprise) As for the U.S. market, public safety spending has been steady. It grew through tough periods like the 2007-09 financial crisis. This shows how much the U.S. prioritizes public safety, giving Axon a stable market to operate in. (Source: Axon Enterprise) Now, let’s talk financials. Axon forecasts a 29.5% revenue growth for 2024. Impressive, right? Investors shouldn’t be too surprised because Axon has posted a 47% revenue CAGR from 2020 to 2023. Taser used to be Axon's biggest business in 2021. Now? Axon Cloud & Services exploded to become nearly as big as the Taser business. (Source: Axon Enterprise) Bottom line: Axon Enterprise has a lot of good things going on. It operates in a stable market. Its flagship product, Taser, has a low adoption rate in international markets which gives the company another growth opportunity. Its Cloud business is growing rapidly in the U.S. The margins are high. Revenue growth is phenomenal. This is the company to watch out for.   [EARN WHILE YOU LEARN!
