The IPO marks about $1.1 billion fortune for Instacart co-founder Apoorva Mehta. But he wasn’t the only one reaping the benefits of Instacart’s IPO. Plenty of venture capitalists saw a windfall from Instacart going public. Vinod Khosla is one of them. You may recognize his name from our previous emails where we revealed that he was the first venture capitalist to invest in OpenAI (the creator of ChatGPT), and his stake is worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Sure enough, he bought a chunk of Instacart for about $1 million in 2012. That move paid off. His $1 million stake has turned into hundreds of millions of dollars, Bloomberg said. Not too shabby of a return in a little more than a decade. Are you thinking about using your self-directed IRA to invest in private tech startups? More and more startups are staying private longer. So, the stock market has changed. We are not a financial advisor, but we believe that an investor should allocate a percentage of his/her portfolio to alternative assets like private equity and tech startups. Here are our favorite tips on using an IRA to invest in private tech startups: First, allocate your money across assets. Top investors diversify their portfolios by spreading investments into stocks, bonds, and alternative assets. Investing in private tech startups is much more enjoyable when you diversify well. Second, allocate a percentage of money in venture capital. Many of the world’s most intelligent and respected venture capital investors put over $200 billion into alternative assets every year. Why? They know that expected returns are attractive. An investor could make seven investing mistakes, but just one successful investment could cover all the mistakes of others. For example, Khosla could make several dumb mistakes, but a single investment in Instacart would cover these mistakes, allowing him to totally forget about all of his failures. Third, invest in innovative products. Best startups offer innovative products that don’t exist in the market. When you recognize something that could be insanely useful, and there are no good options out there, it could be a good investment. And speaking of innovative products… TradeAlgo is building a revolutionary product that could transform the way retail investors trade forever. Namely, the company has hired a team of engineers and programmers to train AI models on uncovering trading patterns through historical data. As you know, history often repeats itself. Our goal is to turn these insights into “super-intelligent” trades for retail investors. Hedge funds are already doing this. Citadel, Six Sigma, and Renaissance Technologies have been leveraging algorithms and AI/ML to uncover trading opportunities and automate them to mine profits out of these opportunities. It’s about time for retail investors to have these technologies, as well. You have an opportunity to own private shares in TradeAlgo just before we launch the new AI platform. But you must hurry before our private round gets oversubscribed. So, go ahead and reserve a time with our team to learn all about our new AI platform and how you can own private shares in it. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
