The IPO marks about $1.1 billion fortune for Instacart co-founder Apoorva Mehta. But he wasn’t the only one reaping the benefits of Instacart’s IPO. Sure enough, he bought a chunk of Instacart for about $1 million in 2012. That move paid off. His $1 million stake has turned into hundreds of millions of dollars, Bloomberg said. When you recognize something that could be insanely useful, and there are no good options out there, it could be a good investment.
