Sounds counterintuitive, but this is wildly bullish for crypto… December 08, 2021 [UNSUBSCRIBE]( | [WEBSITE]( [Altucher Confidential] “Instead of relying on titans like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google, individuals can rely on an Internet run by and for the people. This is the way the Internet is supposed to work.” [HERO IMAGE] Why Internet Outages Are Bullish For Crypto By Chris Campbell BOMBSHELL: James just stunned EVERYONE [Read more here...]( Available to the public for just hours... This just-released video is already causing quite a stir. That’s because James Altucher just went live on camera and dropped a BOMBSHELL on our readers that no one was expecting... If you do one thing today, take five minutes to see this. You’ll be very happy you did. [>> Go Here Now <<]( Yesterday morning, I received this email from a small business owner: “Earlier today we discovered that our Payment Services Gateway hosted by Amazon has gone down.” At first, I thought little of it. And then another similar email arrived. And then one more. I did some digging. That’s when I realized… the outage was worldwide. Instacart. Venmo. Kindle. Roku. Disney+. The McDonald’s app. Even my neighbor’s Ring camera stopped working. I don’t own an Alexa, but I heard those went down as well. Tinder, too. Amazon delivery drivers couldn’t log in, so packages stayed in the trucks. Classes were cancelled. Work pushed aside. Businesses couldn’t process payments. Even websites to make memes were impacted. [IMG 1] In fact, many crypto exchanges — Coinbase included — were also caught in the outage. (A reminder to keep your coins in cold storage or your own wallets.) Why? Because they ALL rely on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon’s cloud computing services. Amazon’s response to the outage was clear as mud: “The root cause of this issue is an impairment of several network devices.” Was it a hack? Bug? Did an intern spill his coffee on some crucial motherboard? We don’t know. Chalk it up to an “error” at their US-east-1 data center. Doug Madory at network intelligence firm Kentik Inc, said: "AWS is the biggest cloud provider and US-east-1 is their biggest data center, so any disruption there has big impacts to many popular websites and other internet services.” Now, here’s the thing. Blood-curdling SCREEEAAAAAMMMMM!!!! Your future just ended. And whether you realize it yet or not… Everything you have from the money in the bank, to the stocks sitting in your 401k… Are all being given to you on loan. Because if the information this former advisor to the CIA and Pentagon just revealed live on camera is correct. These markets have already crashed, and it’s only a matter of weeks (maybe even days) before everyone catches on. The markets just let out a blood-curdling SCREEEAAAAMMMMM… And you don’t have long to act. [Click Here to See Why All of Your Wealth Could Be in Danger]( Expect More Outages This is predictable. As the Internet becomes more and more complex, centralization becomes more and more fragile. And as Moore’s Law continues to accelerate our computing power, centralized networks are becoming the biggest choke points. Accidental failures are just the tip of the iceberg. Centralization also makes data centers vulnerable to sophisticated hacks. It creates a single vector of attack. And not to mention… that’s a whole lot of power for one company to hold. Amazon has the power to destroy hundreds of thousands of businesses with the flip of a switch. This isn’t speculative. Amazon has already flexed this power in the past. Some might recall when AWS took down the alternative social media website Parler. It wasn’t because Parler did anything illegal. Amazon didn’t like Parler’s politics. Poof. They were gone. Politics aside, I don’t know about you… but I think that’s concerning. But I also see an opportunity. “Uber For Cloud Computing” There’s one tiny “under the radar” crypto — sitting at less than $3 — that has a solution. It’s not just an idea. It already works. People are using it right now. And the best part is it’s actually cheaper to use than AWS or its competitors. With their technology, instead of relying on titans like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, individuals can rely on a cloud computing service run by and for the people. This is the way the Internet is supposed to work. With this company’s technology (blockchain as only one part), decentralization will be cheaper, faster, and more resilient. Even better, it takes the power out of the hands of Big Tech and puts it back where it belongs… with the users. By the way… This tiny crypto is just one of 9 “early stage cryptos” James Altucher talks about in his recent interview. If you haven’t already check it out. But do it now. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
