Hey {NAME}, I used to avoid it like the plague… I didn’t want to be one of those biohacking nerds that did all of this weird voodoo stuff. But when the evidence started coming out, and the studies started to show that it actually worked, I gave it a shot myself. The results were insane… I'm talking about red light therapy (also known as photobiomodulation). Essentially, it’s using a very specific kind of red light that transfers through your skin to your cells. It's pretty simple in nature. We're just getting exposed to the proper kind of light. Here's what's interesting though : We think that we only absorb light through our eyes because it's just what we see, but the fact is our skin absorbs light. That's how our cells actually react to light. All of this to say, red light therapy can affect our cells by going through our skin. It can have all sorts of effects. I want to highlight five of the most important things I've personally experienced. Before I get into all the benefits, here’s the one that I use, it’s from a [company called Bon Charge]( and they’re deep penetrating and also work from a further distance unlike many others. Means you can sit 18-24" away and still get the same effect. But also, their price point is WAY better. A lot of times I just use the portable travel device as it’s affordable and easy to bring with me. Its made a wild difference in my sleep, but especially my mood. Here’s a Huge 25% Off Discount Link (use code TDL25) that is only valid for 48 hours: [TRY IT HERE]( Make Sure you Enter that code TDL25 or it will not get you the temporary 25% Off Discount! Anti-Inflammatory Effect Inflammation is the root cause of almost everything. Don’t believe me?? It contributes to cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative disease, and even mental health conditions. That’s right. More inflammation can lead to more depression and anxiety. It’s no joke. Studies have now shown that utilizing even a small amount of red light therapy can have a significant decrease in Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha, Interleukin 1-Alpha, and Interleukin 6. These are all components of the inflammatory system that cascade inflammation throughout our body. So if we can combat this through red light therapy, we’ll have a powerful recovery and overall health effect. Skin Health Red light therapy improves platelet-derived growth factor, a growth factor derived from our blood. This growth factor repairs our skin tissue. It also enhances fibroblast cells, which are like the scaffolding for our skin. When we have an increase of fibroblasts, we have a direct increase of collagen being able to go to the site and repair our skin. All of this is likely a result of what is called decreased apoptosis. Normally a cell has a pre-programmed death, so it's designed to die at a certain time. When a cell is programmed to die, our body generates a new one in its place. Sometimes premature cell death isn't supposed to occur though. If we can stop premature cell death, we can allow the body a chance to catch up and heal our cells, not just replace them. And then, of course, it improves what's called vascular perfusion, which is the ability for blood to leave the artery or vein and get where it needs to go, increasing delivery of nutrients. Red light therapy improves all of these functions, which in turn leaves us with younger and clearer skin. Sleep Benefits - This is where I have noticed the biggest difference with my [Bon Charge Red Lights]( This is actually how I got turned on to red light therapy. I’ve battled with sleep for a long time. There was a period of my life where no matter what, I couldn’t sleep through the night. It was brutal. Red light therapy changed all of that. It improves sleep by literally mimicking the circadian rhythm. Normally, we're supposed to be exposed to certain amounts of red light. Most red light exposure comes in the morning, when you wake up and get outside for example. That's why our rhythms start to balance when we get outside in the morning. But nowadays we spend so much of our lives indoors that we're not getting the right balance of red and blue light. Red light therapy amplifies the signaling, which enhances our ability to get to sleep. Don't just take my word for this stuff though. [The Journal of Athletic Training]( took a look at two groups of individuals. Group 1 : Female volunteers exposed to red light therapy. Group 2 : Female volunteers exposed to a placebo. For 14 days, Group 1 utilized red light therapy for 30 minutes, and the other group received nothing. After 14 days, the red light therapy group showed significant improvement on all counts. They had an increase of 38 picograms per milliliter of melatonin, versus the placebo group at 21. Almost double the amount of melatonin in the red light group compared to placebo. Now you know why I got into red light therapy. The sleep benefits are real. Recovery and Performance [The Journal of Lasers in Medicinal Science]( looked at two groups of people performing quadriceps exercises. They pushed their muscles to failure, then exposed one group to red light therapy (isolated to the quads), and the other group as a placebo. They measured maximum voluntary contraction strength and overall creatine kinase levels, as well as delayed onset muscle soreness. They measured the subjects multiple times, so they were exposed to red light therapy, then measured one minute, one hour, 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, and 96 hours afterward. The results were obvious… Utilizing red light therapy improved all markers. The red light therapy group showed improvement throughout the entire continuum, throughout every single testing period. So red light therapy clearly has benefits here when it comes to recovery, which obviously increases performance if recovery is quicker. Brain Boosting Effect Those who utilize red light therapy have a massive decrease in Beta Amyloid Plaque. Beta Amyloid Plaque doesn't just contribute to Alzheimer's. It can slow down your cognitive function altogether. A lot of studies are alluding to the fact that it's something to do with neurogenesis. Red lights are somehow affecting our ability to grow new neurons and nerve cells. How it's doing this, we don't know. But, we're seeing an influx of cells AND stem cells. So red light therapy is improving stem cells produced in the marrow, which could be having a big result in our brain later on. A lot of this is just a chain reaction. We're having success in one area of the body and it's balancing things out, whether it be from an endocrine or neurological standpoint. But at the end of the day it's all coming together to make us feel better. So, if you're looking to optimize your life and get the most out of everything you're doing, red light therapy is something that's actually going to help. It feels weird at first. You're just standing in front of a red light… But this light has the ability to penetrate through your skin and do some crazy stuff. It’s worth a shot. - Thomas Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Thomas DeLauer, PO Box 1120, Stateline, NV 89449, United States

Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
