Hi {NAME}, You’ve noticed the dark circles under my eyes before. And you may have noticed

Hi {NAME}, You’ve noticed the dark circles under my eyes before. And you may have noticed on my videos that I do look much more rested lately. I’m not denying that for the past few years I have been tired. Anyone that has multiple young kids just knows it’s par for the course. But the circles under my eyes told no lies. It’s like my body was in a constant state of fight or flight (sympathetic nervous system). It made it hard to turn off at night. It also made it hard to be present. And truthfully I was pretty opposed to taking things to calm me down. I didn’t like melatonin because it could be habit forming. I didn't like GABA because it could desensitize you to it (sort of like alcohol). And I was weary of CBD for a lot of years because it seems too good to be true. When I took it in the past I had felt kinda wonky. But lately I have been using it again, and the difference is noticeable in my face. I’ve even been using low dose CBD in the morning many days to take the edge off if I am feeling wired up. I don’t drink. I don’t smoke. I don’t take "things." So it was a tough pill for me to swallow to be okay with CBD. I think what I liked about the CBD that I started taking is that it wasn’t just CBD, it was CBN as well. CBN acts as more of the sedating aspect. Meaning it attenuated the buzzing anxiousness that would linger at night. Like I would get up to pee at night, then not fall back asleep because my body was just running too hot and buzzy. That’s where the CBN portion worked so well. Now, I also have 6 ruptured discs in my back… so that keeps me up a lot too, and the CBD seems to help me quite a bit with that portion (although I can’t say it will for everyone). For sleep, I use their Night Caps. It’s a blend of CBD, CBN and makes me feel like I am sleeping under a weighted blanket. It’s appropriately called "Zen." Truthfully, there have been a few videos where people have commented "whoa, you’re speaking slower and more clearly." Those have been the days that I have taken Zen in the morning, ha! It’s intended use is for evening time to help you wind down. Almost like an alcohol alternative in a way. I’d take a CBD blend any day over alcohol. Zen also has passionflower, reishi and ashwagandha, so it is a functional mushroom blend along with it. Same 20% off on any product, or you can bundle the [Zen and the Night Cap product together here]( - just use code THOMAS. I totally understand that taking supplements or CBD is not everyone’s game. No issues there whatsoever, but I do encourage you to keep an open mind on it because it’s not what the media made it out to be years ago. If it’s still not your thing, I do recommend some breathwork apps to try to downregulate in some other ways. There is an app called Othership which is very unique and helps me wind down miraculously. Although, nowadays I combine it with Zen or Nightcap to get more of an impact on my breathwork. If you’ve noticed I have been calmer lately and wonder why… this is a big part of it…. AND, the kids are a bit older and less wild and crazy now! See you tomorrow! Thomas Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Thomas DeLauer, PO Box 1372, Zephyr Cove, NV 89448, United States
