The OpenAI CEO, during an appearance at The New York Times’ Dealbook Conference on Wednesday, said its ChatGPT chatbot now has 300 million weekly users. That figure indicates ChatGPT’s user base has tripled since November 2023, when the company said it hit 100 million users. OpenAI also added its latest 100 million users pretty quickly, considering the company said it had passed the 200 million user milestone back in August.
