President Trump said that the United States military "cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail." For frame of reference of this "tremendous" burden -- there are 1.3 million people in the military. An estimated 1320 and 6630 of them are trans. Then again, [Trump's always had a hard time with numbers](. Trans people are not burdens. Trans people are human beings, and supporting them begins as early as childhood.
