[That’s why on this Giving Tuesday, we’re giving you the extraordinary chance to TRIPLE your impact on people, parks and our planet.]( With your gift today, you’ll help young leaders restore trails and protect treasured landscapes in our national parks, create vital green spaces in communities across the country and provide opportunities for youth to grow through real conservation work. Don’t take our word for it, check out these great stories of what SCA crews accomplished this past year and [make your gift to help keep these vital programs alive!]( [Triple Your Giving Tuesday Gift and Support Conservation 3 Ways:]( Preserving National Treasures SCA crews are improving trails in our favorite national parks and forests so these national treasures can be enjoyed for generations to come. In the rain forests of Olympic National Park, our team spent the summer clearing trails and building bridges. In addition to their hard work, crews learned lessons and created memories to last a lifetime. “I think I’ve learned that I’m stronger than I think I am,” said crew member Cale Sprouse of South Carolina. [Triple My Gift]( Creating Community Green Spaces SCA’s work isn’t limited to national parks. Our Urban Green program improves the urban canopy by planting trees in cities across the country, so that every community has access to the benefits of green spaces. We’re also providing green jobs for historically marginalized youth and young adults while building equitable access to nature and supporting healthy communities. This year, our Urban Green crews in Chicago planted hundreds of trees at local parks and public spaces to help create healthier air, provide shade in urban “heat islands” and limit the impacts of climate change. [Triple My Gift]( Life-Changing Experiences The SCA is committed to creating opportunities for young people to have an impact beyond their own communities. This March, crew members in Houston and Atlanta traveled to Grand Teton National Park for a life-changing week helping with ecological surveys and participating in leadership training. The crew members learned how indigenous communities adapted to living in a harsh environment and got to experience snowshoeing and stargazing under the vast Wyoming skies. “I’ve grown in countless ways. I’ve grown mentally, socially, and even spiritually from this experience,” recounts crew member Jericho De-Jesus Pineda Rodriguez of Houston.
