by Katie Genter, Senior Writer
[TPG | Hero Image] Booking a long-haul business-class seat usually costs thousands of dollars â but you can use points and miles to book business-class seats with a much lower out-of-pocket cost. Some of my favorite redemptions have been in business-class cabins. Although service was slow on my flight from Doha to Los Angeles last week, my favorite business-class product to fly is still [Qatar Airways' Qsuite](. Iâve flown Qsuite 13 times since 2018, and I love how the seat feels spacious even when the door is closed. But what truly sets Qsuite apart is being able to [sleep in a double bed]( if you and your travel partner book seats E and F. I also like [All Nippon Airways' The Room business-class seat](. This product is only available on a limited number of routes, but itâs worth trying to snag due to its closing door, wide seat and large entertainment screen. It doesnât take millions of points to enjoy these seats, either. For example, you could redeem 70,000 British Airways Avios and pay $234 in taxes and fees to fly in Qsuite one-way from Chicago to Doha. And you could redeem 110,000 ANA miles and pay $453 in taxes and fees to fly round-trip in The Room between New York City and Tokyo. Donât worry if you donât have British Airways Avios or ANA miles, as you can transfer [American Express Membership Rewards points]( to both airlines at a 1:1 ratio. The wide variety of [Amex transfer partners]( lets you book business-class seats on many airlines with Amex points.
