by Tanner Saunders, Senior Hotels Reporter
[TPG | Hero Image] Some of the best assignments for the reporters here at TPG are the ones that have us reviewing business-class seats on the worldâs best airlines. Itâs a tough assignment, sitting, quite literally, in the lap of luxury ... but someone has to do it! But for my colleague Sean Cudahy, the assignment was to look at the airplane seats of the future and share with you how airlines are looking to innovate to improve the passenger experience. So, what does that look like? How about a business-class pod called Maya with a curved 45-inch entertainment center that syncs with your phone? Or inflight water stations so you can refill your water bottles without waiting for drink service? And then thereâs the double-decker seat, business-class edition. While it might be years, even decades, before we see any of these seats up in the air, itâs still an exciting time for the industry. - [A futuristic suite aimed at 'Gen Zers and Tesla owners' â is this what's next for business class?](
