September 04, 2024 | This Week’s Retirement Watchlist Has Names You Won’t See Anywhere Els

September 04, 2024 | [Read Online]( This Week’s Retirement Watchlist Has Names You Won’t See Anywhere Else Hi, folks - Blake Young here with you on this fairly volatile Wednesday. We’ve got some frankly crummy seasonality to get through in the weeks ahead, but there are some compelling ideas out there. Take John Deere (DE), for instance. It’s one of the few industrial stocks that seems to be both bullish and not overbought. On my charts, I’m seeing it put in a double bottom and a 40- and 50-day simple moving average cross. The expectation is to see DE share prices continue up to $425 providing a nearly 10% move higher. Another bullish opportunity comes from Wynn Resorts (WYNN.) I wouldn't normally be looking into leisure stocks like WYNN and Las Vegas Sands (LVS) but the price pattern and breakout is just too tempting. We’ve seen higher lows and higher highs after a dramatic selloff. The volume has been nearly double on bullish days than bearish days in the past week. I am seeing a 7% to 10% move initially. Not only does this provide a bullish target but, big picture-wise, this could be a trend reversal and recovery for WYNN. It would not surprise me to see $90 before the end of the year. Believe it or not (and you should believe it), there are even some tech stocks out there worth a look - even if they’re bearish. Finding tech stocks that aren’t too volatile or that have already become oversold is difficult today but DataDog (DDOG) seems to fit the bill. Price action created a large expansion area from July into August, erasing the lines for both the bulls and the bears. After the expansion and earnings, price paused. That has created a clear lower high and a Bollinger breakout trade. I am targeting $100 here, which would be a roughly 9% decline in the stock price over the next three weeks. Suncor Energy (SU), has already reversed and reached the target on a double top pattern. price has continued lower on extremely high volume. This bearish Bollinger breakout trade for me is a little questionable as far as the chart goes but the amount of volume after the dividend is staggering. I expect SU to drop to $37 and fill the earnings gap and possibly continue to $35 in the next month. Finding stocks like this isn’t magic, or shooting darts at a board - it takes skill to learn how to read price action in charts, to know which price “events” are significant opportunities and which are worth ignoring. So we put together a Day Trader’s Mega Bundle to help everyone learn how to read price action and make the moves that make retiring rich easy! This bundle has 22 trading masterclasses, two Mastermind sessions, one full year of access to day trading planning reports, and more.
