It's also easy to use: Just turn it on once and you're done. There's nothing to install, and there's no keyboard shortcut or trick to remember. As a bonus, this feature also brings a splash of color to your Windows desktop â and you get to choose which color. There's a convenient one-click setting that can bring some more order to this chaos, making it clear exactly which window is the important one. ð» This works on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. â Windows Intelligence reader Dan wrote in with a convenient tip for making your active window stand out. Just open the Settings app â either from the Start menu or by pressing Windows+i (that's a lower-case "i"). In the Settings window, head to Personalization > Colors. Then: On Windows 11, scroll down and activate the "Show accent color on title bars and window borders" option. [The "Show accent color on title bars and window borders" option in Windows 11's Settings.] On Windows 10, scroll down and activate the "Title bars and window borders" checkbox under "Show accent color on the following surfaces." [The "Title bars and window borders" option under Colors in Windows 10's Settings.] Now, your system's accent color will appear as an outline around the window you're currently using. Windows 10 users can still use [Bing Image Creator](=) on the web â or ask [Bing Chat]( to generate an image. ð§ Check your PC's specs without extra apps: Who needs PC spec-checking apps? To find your PC's specs, just launch Task Manager â either right-click an empty spot on the taskbar and select "Task Manager" or press Ctrl+Shift+Esc. Click the "Performance" icon or tab to view info about your PC's hardware.
