Let's talk about something that's been catching a lot of attention lately-Vice President Kamala Harris and her recent verbal missteps. Now, we've discussed President Joe Biden's "brain breaks" quite a bit, where his speeches are riddled with pauses, stumbles, and moments of confusion. Part of that is due to his cognitive decline, which was on full display during the debates. The nation watched in shock as Biden struggled, with even mainstream media unable to spin it as anything other than a disaster. But Biden isn't alone in his struggles. Vice President Kamala Harris has her own issues when it comes to public speaking, though hers seem to stem from different causes. Harris has been known for her tangled word salads-statements so jumbled that it's hard to decipher what she's even trying to say. It's not cognitive decline, but it still results in some pretty cringeworthy moments, like the one we saw recently at a rally in Savannah, Georgia. During her speech, [Harris]( attempted to reference former President Donald Trump but ended up saying something utterly baffling: "He even called for termination of the United States supreme, the c- the supreme land of our nation, the United States Constitution." Wait, what? What on earth did she mean by that? It's unclear if even she knows. And that's the scary part-this isn't a one-off mistake but part of a pattern. KAMALA: "He even called for termination of the United States supreme, the c- the supreme land of our nation!" What? [pic.twitter.com/A68E6TLSFq]( - Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) [August 29, 2024]( The comment seemed to be a garbled attempt to echo a debunked claim about Trump wanting to terminate the Constitution, which, for the record, he never said. Ironically, it's the Biden-Harris administration that's been at odds with the Supreme Court, particularly on issues like student debt. Yet Harris couldn't even get this false narrative straight, making it all the more concerning. Adding to the chaos, Harris's rally wasn't without its disruptions. Protesters made their presence known, and at least one was escorted out by security. It seems that Harris struggles not just with words but with managing the unpredictability of public events. Yikes! Kamala's got protesters again. [pic.twitter.com/ZLvt1g0HtD]( - Trump War Room (@TrumpWarRoom) [August 29, 2024]( All of this comes on the heels of her disastrous CNN interview-a brief, taped segment with Tim Walz that raised more questions than it answered. The network even had "live" on the screen despite the interview being pre-recorded. Was anything cut out? Did she have notes? These are questions that need answers, but one thing is clear: Harris is avoiding unscripted, high-pressure situations like a real press conference. It's no wonder-she'd have a tough time enduring the kind of grilling that former President Trump faced regularly. As the debate stage looms, one can only imagine the difficulties she'll face trying to defend the record of the Biden-Harris administration. Unfortunately for her, the past is something she can't easily shake, no matter how much she might try to distance herself from it.
