Locks Social Media After Vance Comments Land Her In Hot Water]( Goes into hiding. Former President Donald Trump recently came to the defense of his vice-presidential nominee, J.D. Vance, after Vance's "childless cat ladies" comment resurfaced, causing a storm of controversy. During an interview on Fox News, Trump explained that Vance's remarks were meant to highlight his appreciation for families. "He grew up in a very interesting family situation, and he feels family is good. And I don't think there's anything wrong in saying that," [Trump stated](. He emphasized that Vance's intention was not to disparage those without children but to express the value he places on family life. Vance made the comment in 2021 on Fox News's "Tucker Carlson Tonight," where he suggested that people without children don't have a "direct stake" in America's future. The clip recently went viral on X, garnering over 25 million views and drawing reactions from celebrities like Jennifer Aniston. Aniston never got over Brad Pitt leaving her and turned into a cat lady. Which is why the left is so upset. It's true. When Fox News host Laura Ingraham questioned whether Vance was an "excellent pick" for vice president, Trump responded, "He's got tremendous support, and he really does among a certain group of people - people who like families." Trump further clarified that Vance's admiration for families does not imply any disdain for those who are not parents. In a separate interview on the Megyn Kelly Show, Vance addressed the backlash, describing his comment as sarcastic and asserting that the focus should be on the substance of his message rather than the tone. "People are focusing so much on the sarcasm and not on the substance of what I actually said," Vance explained. He emphasized that becoming a parent significantly alters one's perspective and criticized the Democratic Party for what he views as anti-family policies. "The simple point that I made is that having children, becoming a father, becoming a mother, I really do think it changes your perspective in a pretty profound way," Vance elaborated. He maintained that his criticism was directed at the Democratic Party's stance rather than individuals who don't have children. Vance also extended well wishes to Vice President Kamala Harris and her family, clarifying that his critique was about policy, not personal circumstances. "I wish her step-children and Kamala Harris and her whole family the very best," he said. "The point is not that she's lesser. The point is that her party has pursued a set of policies that are profoundly anti-child." The comment sparked far-left MSNBC contributor Molly Jong-Fast to go on a rant that backfired on her. She claimed that JD Vance only wants white children in America. For those who don't know, Vance's own children are biracial. Jong-Fast X account, @MollyJongFast, is now protected after she got shredded online. Jong-Fast appeared to know nothing about Vance despite being portrayed as an expert during the show on MSNBC.
