[Radical Dem Congressman Flips Out After Being Debunked]( [Radical Dem Congressman Flips Out After Being Debunked]( Dude lost his mind. Rep. Ted Lieu having a meltdown over the Trump-Russia collusion debacle? Who could have seen that coming? Turns out, when you're clinging to a narrative that's been discredited as thoroughly as the Trump-Russia collusion theory, reality starts to get uncomfortable. Enter Michael Tracey, the independent journalist who had the audacity to ask Lieu the question so many on the left still refuse to confront: "Do you still think Donald Trump colluded with Russia?" Lieu, ever the stalwart defender of debunked theories, confidently answered, "His campaign actually did," and tried to back it up with the stale argument that Trump's former campaign manager shared polling data with a Russian national. Ooooh, scary! Except, as Tracey pointed out, the "secret" data Lieu's so fired up about was publicly available polling info. The kind you could Google over your morning coffee. This wasn't some classified dossier-it was, in Tracey's words, "nonsensical." When Tracey asked the million-dollar question-"Why didn't Mueller charge anyone with collusion?"-Lieu had no real answer. Instead, he pivoted to the tried-and-true fallback: Russia interfered in the election. Sure, Ted. We've heard it all before, but none of that explains why, after years of breathless media coverage, Mueller couldn't pin collusion on Trump's team. Spoiler alert: because it didn't happen. And while we're on the subject of Lieu's baffling logic, Tracey didn't let him off the hook about Kamala Harris touting Dick Cheney's endorsement. You know, Cheney-the guy Democrats spent two decades painting as a war criminal for his role in the Iraq War. Suddenly, now that Cheney's willing to throw a bone to Harris, Lieu is all for cozying up to him. Because, as Lieu claimed, Cheney is now the new defender of "democracy." Here's my exchange with Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) about Kamala Harris touting the endorsement of Dick Cheney. We also revisit whether he still believes that Trump colluded with Russia [pic.twitter.com/lqmKGPsxSR]( - Michael Tracey (@mtracey) [September 12, 2024]( Oh, the irony. Cheney, once the left's ultimate villain, is now their knight in shining armor because he doesn't like Trump. Never mind the blood on his hands from the Iraq War or the false pretenses under which it was launched-those details are inconvenient now that the Democrats need someone to validate their chosen candidate. Lieu's defense of Cheney is a shining example of how far the left is willing to go to rewrite history when it suits them. One minute, they're marching in the streets, denouncing Cheney as a puppet master of the military-industrial complex, and the next, they're happily touting his endorsement because, hey, anything to stop Trump, right? The best part? [Lieu]( couldn't handle the heat. After getting pressed by Tracey, he eventually had to cut the interview short with a dismissive, "I think I've given you a lot of time, so thank you." Translation: I've run out of talking points and need to exit before this gets more embarrassing. Well, Ted, maybe next time, don't defend discredited narratives and try to rewrite history. You'll save yourself the headache. [Melania Shares Adorable Photo]( [Melania Shares Adorable Photo]( Heartwarming.
