Autopsy, investigation under way in Bangladesh ferry tragedy A crowded three-storey ferry carrying around 800 passengers caught fire on the Sugandha River in southern Bangladesh early Friday, killing at least 41 people and injuring over 150 others. Officials said they were carrying out the autopsy of the 30 people at Jhalakathi’s main government hospital ahead of handing them over to relatives. Junior Minister for Shipping Khaled Mahmud Chowdhury said three separate investigations have been launched to find out the background and other details of the predawn accident. 7. Queen Elizabeth's Christmas speech set to be particularly personal Queen Elizabeth II is expected to offer a particularly personal Christmas Day message to the nation this year after Buckingham Palace released a photo of the monarch recording the speech alongside a picture of her and her husband, who died earlier this year.
