Do you guys have a certain Rihanna lyric that pops into your head all the time? One that you feel like really captures your whole entire essence in just like, six words? For me, it's "Nobody text me in a crisis" from "Work." That's real as hell! Also, for some reason I always think of the below picture of Dennis Quaid when that lyric pops into my head. There's no logical explanation for why other than the fact that that's the face of a man that you should not text in a crisis. Two unrelated pieces of content, forever entwined in my dumb, broken brain. Ok. Happy Saturday. - FYF Fest did something that seemingly no one else knows how to do when it booked [women headliners.]( They say it wasn't hard! Makes you wonder why more festivals don't do it! Hmmm, what could it be? Ah, yes,,, sexism. - This video of HAIM and Lizzo serenading an audience member with ["The Girl Is Mine"]( is cute as shit. That's all. - Do you have plans for tonight yet??? Might I suggest reading this little [Life Upgrade post]( about how to throw a bangin' dinner party and then getting one of those Amazon drones to drop off an Instant Pot to your house. - JAY-Z and Kanye are more than friends, he wants you to know. According to him, they're brothers, and so even when Kanye is, ya know, doing his Kanye thing, Jay still loves him. You can see him talk about it [here]( watch if you want your heart to be warmed. - If you're in the mood for something a little longer, I recommend [this interview with Key!]( The Atlanta staple is about to drop a collaborative project with Kenny Beats, so we talked with him about that and also how he's ready for y'all to see the best and brightest version of himself. I give this interview a 10/10, and not just because I work here! - Did y'all think I was above putting another Cardi song in today's newsletter? Please. We're listening to "Bickenhead" and that's that. Cardi B - Bickenhead [SHOP NOW]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( [Youtube]( [Tumblr]( [Snapchat]( © 2018 The FADER | All rights reserved.
