Rockefeller    Playing Dirty The Headline Mom and Pop ISP sues Comcast for cutting cables The Grind Anthony Luna's small telecom company went out of business shortly after Comcast moved into the area, but it wasn't competition that drove his customers away. In 2013, Comcast approached Luna with an offer to purchase his Houston-based telecom company. Luna refused, arguing that they weren't offering him enough money. The Details When Comcast moved into the neighborhood, Luna marked all OF his lines with flags and paint to make sure Comcast didn't damage them when it went to lay its own cables. Even so, Luna received reports of outages as soon as Comcast started digging. One of his lines had been cut. While he was on the phone with Comcast, three more lines were cut. Within weeks, all of Luna's lines were cut and he had no customers. Comcast will probably argue that Luna did not take the necessary steps to protect his lines, and therefore they should not be held responsible for damages. But Comcast is widely known for its bad customer service and questionable ethics. I'd say Luna has a good lawsuit on his hands. You Might Like    Espresso Yourself The Headline Things to know before you attend a bachelor party The Grind There are lots of traditions surrounding marriage and bachelor parties - some of them good, some of them not so good. There are fewer traditions in place when it comes to the younger generation, which gives couples plenty of room to do things their own way. That being said, there are a few things you should know when invited to a bachelor party. The Details In most cases, the couples will have separate bachelor/ bachelorette parties (otherwise, it's an engagement party). These parties may or may not overlap at the end of the night. The invites for both parties will likely include both men and women. That being said, it's a good idea to hire a variety of entertainment. The person organizing the party should be familiar with the individual's beliefs and be good friends with the bride or groom. Keep in mind the idea of a completely wild bachelor party is a bit outdated and isn't acceptable to everyone. In case things do get crazy, it's important that the couple has a discussion about just how far they intend to go with anything sexual before the parties start.  Good to the last drop  Did you know...
