In 2024, revolutionary leftists and rent-a-mob organizations funded by progressive billionaires occupied elite universities across the country. Many of these universities canceled classes and commencement due to pro-terror protests. Police have arrested students and even professors at several institutions due to violence! That’s why I need to hear from you right away. What do you think about all of this? Could you please take a few minutes to complete our National Survey on Higher Education and let me know your thoughts [today](? [( It’s no secret that these campus radicals get their inspiration from the student protestors of 1968… Our country has changed a lot since that year. And I would say—and I think you agree—not for the better. A big reason is that many of these radicals took over our education system…as professors, administrators, and government bureaucrats. And they spread far-Left propaganda in our schools and culture with the help of big-money progressive donors and your tax dollars. Hillsdale College is one of the only colleges in this country that hasn’t fallen into this madness. We are one of the only colleges that teach young Americans—and millions of people around this country—what makes our country the freest and most prosperous nation in history. But in response to the violent mobs we see in far too many colleges and universities, we need YOUR HELP to do even more. We must reach and teach millions on behalf of liberty, far beyond Hillsdale’s campus. We refuse to accept ONE PENNY of government funding—not even indirectly, in the form of federal or state student grants and loans. This independence frees us from burdensome and corrupting regulations. It’s why our college is a place that seeks to DEFEND LIBERTY rather than OVERTHROW IT. But it comes at a cost! We rely heavily on the generosity of friends like you to do our work. So, would you consider chipping in to help us reach and teach millions more citizens nationwide? You can teach millions—everyone from the high school senior who takes a civics course in one of our K-12 classical schools using our free curriculum … …to the family who reads Imprimis—our free digest of liberty—and engages in a lively discussion at the dinner table over what Heather Mac Donald, Victor Davis Hanson, or Christopher Rufo had to say … …to the grandparents who watch our free online courses on the Constitution and American history and tell stories to their grandchildren about the great heroes of liberty. When elite schools are doing everything they can to destroy this country, you can change this country for the better—one person, one family, one community at a time. So, after you take our survey, please consider supporting us once again. Any gift you can give from $10, $25, $35, or even $50, if you’ve been especially blessed this year, will help us relentlessly pursue our mission on behalf of liberty—especially when our higher education is in crisis. But we need your help right away. I hope you will partner with Hillsdale College by making a generous tax-deductible gift today. You can easily do so after completing the attached National Survey on Higher Education, which you can access at this secure link: [( Thank you in advance for letting me know your thoughts. Warm regards, Bill Gray, ’01 Vice President Institutional Advancement Hillsdale College P.S. Big-money progressive donors and your tax dollars have helped far-Left activists, administrators, and bureaucrats take over elite colleges and universities. That’s why you see these places erupt in protests—and even violent mobs—that have led to canceled classes and commencements, and even the arrests of students and professors. That’s why I’m asking you today to take Hillsdale College’s National Survey on Higher Education. It’ll only take a few minutes. You can find our survey at the secure link here: [( Thanks again!
