The Texas Civil Rights Project has reported that it has heard of issues across the state with Hart eSlate voting machines. "We’ve been hearing reports of voters who go to the booths, they try to vote straight ticket and then the next screen they see it appears that their vote has been selected for a candidate of the opposing party,” James Slattery, a senior staff attorney with the Texas Civil Rights Project, told KUT. An Invasion The [Californians (and Chicagoans) are coming](. The Dallas Morning News reported that homeowners in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago are fleeing toward Dallas. Home sales firm Redfin examined where people looking to leaving high-cost metro areas were heading to, and Dallas landed in the top ten U.S. metro areas. According to the Redfin data, a quarter of the people landing in Dallas are coming from Los Angeles. The data also noted that Austin and Houston were getting an influx of out-of-staters.
