LIVE TRADING SESSION!]( Hello investor I am going to reveal one of my favorite trading secrets ever. Listen, weâve witnessed the power of supply and demand during the pandemic. Due to the lockdown, workers stayed home and stopped making things for the global economy. Supply contracted severely. At the same time, governments printed money and injected cash into the economy. Demand soared while supply plummeted during the pandemic. Result? We are fighting one of the worst inflation periods in history. The same thing happens in the stock market on a routine basis. Supply and demand have a big impact on stocksâ prices. If there is more demand (buyers) than available supply (sellers), prices go up. The most common way to measure the demand for a stock is by watching its daily trading volume. I generally prefer higher trading volumes because they show buying pressure from institutions. Hereâs one of my favorite secrets: Pay attention to stocks with smaller outstanding shares. For example, InMode (INMD) has 83 million shares outstanding. What about Apple? Well, it has 15.73 billion shares outstanding! InModeâs stock price is likely to be more sensitive to any spike in demand. So, if I see an unusual spike in buying volume for InMode, thatâs a stock that I would watch closely because of the imbalance in supply/demand.
