a “mistake” that turned out great ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

You can either: - [Enroll here]( and save 💰 - [Turn off these promo emails]( - Do nothing—I’ll remind you again a few more times if there are still spots available Now back to our scheduled programming… “I’ve got three good newses and one bad news,” my son yells to me from the toilet. “Which do you want to hear first?” I’ve been ordered to sit on the floor outside the bathroom while he does his business, and listen to him deliver the evening news according to Mo. [Picture of Tarzan lying on her stomach on a faux fur rug taking a selfie while Mo peeks out over her left shoulder with a big grin.] This is his favorite game—and maybe mine, too. The way he says “news-es” makes me smile in the kind of way that hurts your face. Today, much like my sweet boy Mozasu* I'm going to offer you three good newses and one bad news. Let’s start with the good news. The good news about [the last cohort of Email Stars]( - The business owners who joined were wicked smart and they actually showed up for the thing they paid for - I had a great time delivering the program, and felt so proud to offer this much value-for-dollars - A bunch of them rejoined for the next round But the bad news is… I worked my tail off, holy GEEZ man. Mid-way through the delivery I realized that I’d way underpriced the program. It was really exciting the way people were showing up but I was also thinking, “What the hell did you do to yourself, Tarzan?!” Usually with this kind of thing people buy in and then they use some of the support but not all of it. But those rotten scoundrels had the audacity to actually show up…for ALL OF IT! The truth is I really loved them for it. Hats off to them! While I was bemoaning all the work I’d committed to, taking call after call and meticulously reviewing and editing ONE-HUNDRED-AND-THREE EMAILS (!!!), I was also thinking, “What if I could offer even more support?” Those personal touches: individualized support, private time with me, detailed voice note exchanges when someone asked a complicated question, custom screenshare videos for things that can’t be explained in words, personalized email reviews that include recommendations for segmenting and tagging, and a dozen other things — [Those things make Email Stars fundamentally NOT A DIGITAL PROGRAM](. It is a ton of extra work for me, compared to a fully scaled program? Yes, totally. But I’m cool with it because I really enjoy supporting business owners this way. They get way better results, and that’s really validating for me. But also… I'm not doing this again at this price. I know you’ve heard a lot of talk about price increases as a way to induce FOMO and make you purchase something you don’t actually need or isn’t a good fit for your stage of business (notice I didn’t say “before you’re ready” ← a phrase I think is 🐮💩), so let me be super clear in this: ❌ If you are not clear on WHAT you’re selling and WHO you are selling to, don’t join Email Stars. It’s not for beginners. ❌If you don’t have email subscribers you won’t have any way to apply the lessons and get ROI, so don’t buy this (unless you’re a copywriter) On the other hand, Email Stars is a great fit for you if: ✔︎ You have an email list (even if it’s small) ✔︎ You sell programs or services that are delivered virtually, and you want to build trusting subscriber relationships so you don’t have to do as much hard selling (or wonder where you next client is coming from) ✔︎ You have something to say about your industry and want to be a disruptor (no need to be polarizing, but you do need a certain “signal strength” to get noticed in the inbox) If you don’t exactly love writing emails, that’s cool! A lot of past students do come to love writing once they’ve taken Email Stars. It has some pretty cool “unlocking” power when it comes to words. I was hesitant to share about the price increase because I really don’t want FOMO-buyers. But I also don’t want you to be surprised when it comes around again (in the Fall, I think) at a significantly higher price. If you want to lean into email as a tool for customer nurturing and sales, now is a great time to take the leap. [Join Email Stars here —>Â]( XOT *His real name is just Mo. I can’t stop calling him Mozasu after I read the book Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. He prefers Moberto. Want to access your fave emails on the go? Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
