We all knew it would happen, {NAME}, but I didn’t think it would happen this early. Their claims are laughable and sad. They blame me for the pandemic. They claim that the tragic deaths in New York can be traced back to me. They say I am a “radical socialist” because I supported relief packages designed to help save lives — if only the Republicans had let them pass. We know what this is. To borrow a phrase from President Biden, it’s “malarkey!” — and they’re not even trying to hide it. [{NAME}, we’re up against a group of well-funded folks who are willing to stoop to the lowest possible level to try and win, even if it means ignoring public health and exploiting American deaths for political gain. Leaders who bring people together and legislators who actually care about their constituents, not bad-faith actors who see death as an opportunity instead of a tragedy. Unfortunately, the NRCC doesn’t feel that way, and now they’re trying to win my seat with their hypocrisy-laden rhetoric. America deserves better than this. It’s time to stand up and say “no more.” We voted for a change when we flipped the White House, held the House, and turned the Senate blue. It’s time we keep fighting for that change.
