Who?s really spreading ?misinformation??

Who’s really spreading “misinformation?”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                [11 Examples of How the American Government Destroyed Their Credibility on COVID]( Who’s really spreading “misinformation?” [John Hawkins]( Feb 3 [Comment]( [Share]( There’s [an old insult that Winston Churchill rather famously leveled]( at British Prime Minister Clement Attlee: “When Winston Churchill was told that Clement Attlee is a modest man, he said: ‘No doubt he is. And Mr. Attlee has plenty to be modest about.’” That’s worth repeating because, at this point in the pandemic, our government, scientists, and the media that relentlessly flack for them, also have a great deal to be modest about. They’ve reeled off a string of bad calls, failures, and dishonesty as long as the Mississippi River, but it has led to little reflection on their part. If it wasn’t such a serious matter, it would be almost laughable to hear calls for censoring people supposedly based on COVID “misinformation” when Joe Biden is the President and Anthony Fauci is the man leading the fight against the Coronavirus in America (read below and you will understand what I mean). We’re now at the point where simply suggesting alternate theories or pointing out inconvenient studies leads to even highly qualified doctors and scientists being censored or labeled “conspiracy theorists.” Not only is this a deeply unscientific way of approaching the issue, it’s also thoroughly unamerican. Since when do we censor people and call for, in some cases, [even throwing them in prison]( because they have an opinion that differs from the government? Nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters think federal and state governments should be able to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications. That sounds like China, not the United States. While it’s certainly true that there are conspiracy theorists, wackos, and extremists that refuse to take the COVID vaccine, there are also plenty of nuts that got vaccinated. They’re just advocates of a different style of lunacy and disturbingly, there seem to be more than a few of them in the government and mainstream media. On the other hand, the reality is that the vast majority of people that are vaccinated and unvaccinated are decent, rational people trying to figure out the best thing to do to keep themselves and their families safe during a pandemic scientists haven’t quite figured out yet. This is nearly impossible to do since we don’t have an open scientific debate about the best course of action for people, the government is dishonest, and the mainstream media is so heavily slanted that there’s no way to take anything you read at face value. This should be a time for humbleness, open dialogue, and people coming together to try to work through the best way to approach this virus. Instead, most of the people with power and prominent voices are proving to be extraordinarily arrogant, even though they have destroyed their credibility over and over again. The sad and unfortunate reality is that Americans do have very good reasons not to trust what they’re hearing from the government, scientists, and the mainstream media about COVID. That’s not because Joe Rogan, Alex Berenson, or Robert Malone are supposedly spreading “misinformation, it’s because our government has destroyed its credibility over and over again for the last two years. These people have been telling you they have all the answers and that no one who disputes them could possibly be right, but if they’re so infallible that no one should even be allowed to question them, how did they produce such a staggering track record of failure? There are 11 instances below, but this list could have easily been two or three times as long, especially if we started getting deeper into the failures of the media and state governments. 1) 15 days to slow the spread: Remember when we were told that we just needed to shut everything down for 15 days to slow the spread? That was announced on March 20, 2020. That was 685 days ago and counting. 2) [A very low risk](: “On Jan. 21 (of 2020), Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said in an interview that ‘(COVID) is not a major threat for the people of the United States, and this is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about.’ On Jan. 26 (of 2020) when he was asked whether Americans should be scared, Fauci replied, ‘I don't think so. The American people should not be worried or frightened by this. It's a very, very low risk to the United States, but it's something that we, as public health officials, need to take very seriously.’ On Jan. 31 (of 2020) (the day Trump announced banning travel from China, saving countless lives), Fauci said, ‘We still have a low risk to the American public, but we want to keep it at a low risk.’” “On Feb. 3 (of 2020), Fauci predicted that because of the travel restrictions Trump had put in place, ‘I think you are going to see a dampening down’ of U.S. cases. On Feb. 17 (of 2020), Fauci told USA Today that the danger to Americans was ‘just minuscule’ and that people should be more worried about the ‘real and present danger’ of seasonal flu. He further warned against ‘outlandish extrapolations of fear’ and advised that ‘now, in the United States, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to wear a mask.’” 3) All we need to stop COVID are masks: “If we could get everybody to wear a mask right now, I really think in the next four, six, eight weeks, we could bring this epidemic under control.” -- [Robert Redfield](, the then-director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in July 2020. 4) Claiming the virus could have come from a lab in China was absolutely incorrect and was nothing more than a prejudiced, debunked conspiracy theory: 5) [Governors sending patients with COVID into nursing homes](: “The Justice Department on Wednesday sent letters to the governors of New York and three other Democratic-led states, seeking data on whether they violated federal law by ordering public nursing homes to accept recovering COVID-19 patients from hospitals — actions that have been criticized for potentially fueling the spread of the virus. Prosecutors said the fact-finding letters also sent to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan were aimed at determining whether the orders 'may have resulted in the deaths of thousands of elderly nursing home residents.' ...Cuomo's March 25 order, for example, specifically told homes they could not refuse to accept recovering COVID-19 patients from hospitals as long as the patients were 'medically stable.' The order barred homes from even testing such patients to see if they still had the virus. Some homes said they feared they would lose their licenses if they didn't comply. ...Long-term care facilities represent less than 1% of the U.S. population, but they account for 42% of the COVID-19 deaths, with more than 70,000 fatalities reported by the COVID Tracking Project.” 6) [Lockdown failure](: “Lockdowns in the U.S. and Europe had little or no impact in reducing deaths from COVID-19, according to a new analysis by researchers at Johns Hopkins University. The lockdowns during the early phase of the pandemic in 2020 reduced COVID-19 mortality by about 0.2%, said the broad review of multiple scientific studies. ‘We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality,’ the researchers wrote. But the research paper said lockdowns did have ‘devastating effects’ on the economy and contributed to numerous social ills. ‘They have contributed to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest, contributing to domestic violence, and undermining liberal democracy,’ the report said.’” [Subscribe now]( 7) No one who is vaccinated will get sick or die from COVID: “If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, you’re not going to be in the IC unit, and you’re not going to die.” – [Joe Biden]( 8) Releasing illegal aliens with COVID into the United States: [[Twitter avatar for @TomCottonAR]Tom Cotton @TomCottonAR President Biden's border crisis is a superspreader event.]([nbcnews.com/news/latino/af…]([March 3rd 2021 254 Retweets493 Likes]( “Miriam Izaguirre, a 35-year-old asylum-seeker from Honduras, crossed the Rio Grande at dawn Monday with her young son and turned herself in to the authorities. A few hours later she was released, and the first thing she did was take a rapid test for Covid-19 at the Brownsville bus station. They told her her test came out positive. "Right now we were tested for Covid and they separated about eight of us because we were positive," she told Noticias Telemundo Investiga. "We are waiting right now." She was waiting to catch a bus to Houston. Other migrant families who also said they had tested positive were waiting to go to other destinations: North Carolina, Maryland and New Jersey.” 9) The Biden standard: “If you hear nothing else I say tonight, hear this. Anyone that is responsible for that many deaths (220,000) should not remain as president of the United States of America. I will take care of this. I will end this. I’m going to shut down the virus, not the country.” – [Joe Biden](, October 2020. Meanwhile, roughly 490,000 Americans and climbing have died of COVID since Joe Biden was elected. 10) They just made up the “6-foot” rule: [Twitter avatar for @FaceTheNation]Face The Nation @FaceTheNation Former FDA commissioner @ScottGottliebMD calls CDC’s six-foot distancing recommendation “arbitrary” and “a perfect example of sort of the lack of rigor around how CDC made recommendations.” [Image]([September 19th 2021 967 Retweets2,332 Likes]( 11) Vaccine completely prevents infection: "You're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations." – [Joe Biden]( in July of 2021. --------------------------------------------------------------- [Subscribe now]( [Leave a comment]( [Share]( [101 Things All Young Adults Should Know]( [Like]( [[Comment]Comment]( [[Share]Share]( You’re a free subscriber to [Culturcidal by John Hawkins](.
