[Eric Brown](seriousplay) Aug 5 seriousplay   [READ IN APP](   “I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve (or save) the world and a desire to enjoy (or savor) the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.” ― E.B. White Momentum is a force multiplier. Like the Juggernaut, once it gets started – watch out! While momentum is difficult to build, it propels you to greater heights once it’s moving. Momentum, of course, works in both directions. Things can be better, faster – or they can worsen, quickly.  When the latter happens—negative momentum—we call that a downward spiral. Fortunately, momentum can always be changed. It can be slowed and reversed, even if it doesn’t always feel that way.  When you have the winds of positive momentum in your sails, and things are getting better, faster — we call that an upward spiral.  So the million-dollar question is: how do you build positive momentum? How do you crack the code of upward spirals? One formula is quite simple: dream it, be it, do it.  - Dream It: Imagine a compelling future for yourself. How do you want to feel? What emotions are normal for you? - Be It: Everything is downstream from how you show up. Begin to embody those states. Choose how you will exist on this Earth. - Do It: From this newly energized state, with a clear vision in mind, take action. Take the next best step. Act in the present how the future version of you would act. This becomes a positive feedback cycle. Dream, Be, Act. Acting in the world changes the world. It opens up new possibilities. These new possibilities allow you to dream bigger while clarifying your vision. Then it repeats.  Take 5 minutes now to do this. Write a positive vision for yourself. Write down how that version of you feels regularly. Finally, note down what you do, and what gets your time each day. Then go do it. Another orientation helps you unlock upward spirals: follow love, wisdom, and wonder.  If you let your deep wisdom, your passionate wonder for existence, and the boundless love of your heart guide you – they will not lead you astray. Following love, wisdom, and wonder may bring you to some challenges in the short-term, but long-term they will put you on the path of upward spirals. You could say that wonder, wisdom, and love are upward spirals. Endless adventures fueled by positivity, inspiration, creativity, and passion. If you pursue and let love, wisdom, and wonder guide you, they will put you on an upward-spiralling path. They are not ‘nice-to-haves’, nor hedonistic indulgences when times get tough. They are the way out and through the hard times and difficult moments. They are the journey and the destination. These ideas are essential to us and have been so helpful for everyone we have worked with – we have weaved them into the DNA of [Apotheosis]( They have become guiding lights in our vision for a beautiful future:  If you’d like to see more of the evolution we’re going through, [check out the website](.
