Granted, if you?re talking about Christianity, it?s best to go straight to the source material.

Granted, if you’re talking about Christianity, it’s best to go straight to the source material. That’s why I have created a list of the 40 best Bible quotes. Still, there have been a lot of brilliant quotes about Christianity throughout history and they deserved their own article as well. ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏   ͏    Forwarded this email? That’s why I have created a list of the [40 best Bible quotes](. Still, there have been a lot of brilliant quotes about Christianity throughout history and they deserved their own article as well. To be fair, I decided to limit it to one quote per person to keep a handful of particular brilliant pastors and Christian writers from taking up an inordinate percentage of the list. Enjoy these quotes, send them to your Christian friends, and heck, maybe even send them to your friends you’d like to introduce to Christianity. 1) "Give me … a compassionate heart, quickly moved to grieve for the woes of others and to active pity for them, even as our Lord Jesus Christ beheld our poverty and hasted to help us. Give me grace ever to alleviate the crosses and difficulties of those around me, and never to add to them; teach me to be a consoler in sorrow, to take thought for the stranger, the widow, and the orphan; let my charity show itself not in words only but in deed and truth." -- Johann Arndt 2) "Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love, Where there is injury, pardon, Where there is doubt, faith, Where there is despair, hope, Where there is darkness, light, And where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life." -- Saint Francis of Assisi 3) "If you believe what you like in the gospels, and reject what you don't like, it is not the gospel you believe, but yourself." -- Saint Augustine 4) "The proud wish God would agree with them. They are not interested in changing their opinions to agree with God’s." -- Ezra Taft Benson 5) "Christianity preaches the infinite worth of that which is seemingly worthless and the infinite worthlessness of that which is seemingly so valued." -- Dietrich Bonhoeffer 6) "Work as if everything depended upon your work and pray as if everything depended upon your prayer." -- William Booth 7) "When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing. They then become capable of believing in anything." -- Émile Cammaerts 8) "Expect great things from God! Attempt great things for God!" -- William Carey 9) "The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting. It has been found difficult and left untried." -- G.K. Chesterton 10) "Your accumulated offences do not surpass the multitude of God's mercies: your wounds do not surpass the great Physician's skill." -- Cyril of Jerusalem 11) "But what we must always try to remember is that God is primarily concerned about one thing: whether or not we make it to heaven. Next to that awesome question, everything else — even our suffering — means nothing. As I’ve said elsewhere, if you die at ten years old in an automobile accident but go to heaven, then you had a successful life. If you die peacefully in your sleep at ninety, rich and powerful in the eyes of the world, but go to hell, then your life was a wasted tragedy. 'What does it profit a man,' Christ asked, 'to gain the world but suffer the loss of his soul?' -- Anthony DeStefano 12) "Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God’s handwriting." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson 13) "So long as we are full of self we are shocked at the faults of others. Let us think often of our own sin, and we shall be lenient to the sins of others." -- Francois Fenelon 14) "God will prepare everything for our perfect happiness in heaven, and if it takes my dog being there, I believe he'll be there." -- Billy Graham 15) "It is not our business to make the message acceptable but to make it available. We are not to see that they like it, but that they get it." -- Vance Havner 16) "Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important." -- C.S. Lewis 17) "You are the only Bible some unbelievers will ever read." -- John MacArthur 18) "Let me remind you that this is God's universe, and He is doing things His way. You may think you have a better way, but you don't have a universe to rule." -- J. Vernon McGee 19) "The Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible." -- Dwight L. Moody 20) "Peace doesn't come from finding a lake with no storms. It comes from having Jesus in the boat." -- John Ortberg 21) "The Gateway to Christianity is not through an intricate labyrinth of dogma, but by a simple belief in the person of Christ." -- Norman Vincent Peale 22) "Right is right, even if everyone is against it, and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it." -- William Penn 23) "One of the Devil’s great lies is that the path to a fulfilling life is to live for one’s self." -- Andrew B. Ray 24) "By professing no ideal in morality, these nice people can never be accused of not living up to their creed. This is the great advantage that they have over the Christians — whose creed is so lofty that they can often and truly be accused of failing to meet its demands." -- Fulton Sheen 25) "Whatever a man depends upon, whatever rules his mind, whatever governs his affections, whatever is the chief object of his delight, is his god." -- Charles Spurgeon --------------------------------------------------------------- [Upgrade to paid]( [Share]( [Leave a comment]( [101 Things All Young Adults Should Know]( Invite your friends and earn rewards If you enjoy Culturcidal by John Hawkins, share it with your friends and earn rewards when they subscribe.
