What's hot this summer? We have the answers... [Pinterest]( Hi everyone, Anyone else get the impression Mother Nature is in payback mode after last year’s less-than-stellar summer? This summer looks set to be a stinker which is amazing… until it’s not. You might make like a lizard and bake in the sun but if I’m not holed up inside with the air conditioning then I’m more likely to be found hiding from the heat in a shady spot, possibly being a bit cranky with it. What you won’t hear me complaining about are long summer evenings when my garden comes alive with the sound of children playing, set against a soundtrack of chittering birds and droning lawnmowers. I try, in those moments, to appreciate that these simple experiences are the very stuff of life and hope that when my children look back on their childhood they’ll remember the simple happiness of our life and value it and see the big experiences as cherries on top. That might be wishful thinking on my behalf but it’s Christmas, right? What better time of the year for wishes to come true. This week we’re celebrating the scorcher summer ahead with ideas on how to make the most of your indoor and outdoor spaces in the hot weather, container pool inspo and some ideas on how to achieve a Palm Springs vibe for fun. We’re giving away a $1000 McKenzie & Willis voucher to one lucky Stuff member too - be quick though, entries close tonight. Click [here for details on how to enter](. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
