Stories that make Kiwis feel great about their country Kia ora {NAME}, Stuff’s mission is to make Aotearoa a better place, and it’s with that in mind that we’re thrilled to share with you some of the first pieces of brilliant, positive journalism from our new partnership with [Paddy Gower and Believer Media](. The former Newshub presenter, reporter, panellist and host of the Paddy Gower Has Issues current affairs series was one of nearly 300 journalists who lost their jobs at Newshub following Warner Bros Discovery’s closure of its news operations in New Zealand. We’ll have more to share on this invigorating project in the coming weeks, but we wanted to share with you the impactful stories Paddy and executive producer Jon Bridges have already brought to Stuff. {NAME}, if you’re keen to see more of this solutions-focused storytelling, and back the kaupapa behind this project, we have a supporter programme where you can contribute directly to our journalism. [Please make a contribution to support our work](. [Back Stuff's journalism](   Paddy Gower thought he’d find another dying mall. But it turned out to be absolutely thriving. So what is the secret? Meet Neil Punja, the man who loves malls so much he decided to buy Southmall and turn it around. [Watch]( Opinion: I know exactly what is needed to save Wellington Paddy reflects on the power of the humble hug, and how we could all help to get Wellington back on track. [Watch](   Opinion: Why I want to say thank you to Nigel Latta Following the sombre announcement of Nigel Latta’s stomach cancer diagnosis, Paddy shares a very personal take on how it felt like Latta was talking about his cancer on behalf of all those people who can’t find the words like this. [Read](   Paddy Gower: Injecting sensor implants in brains is proper Kiwi ingenuity Opinion: It is a genuine world first - an Auckland company is making wireless sensors that people are putting in their heads.
